For over 10 years, I've had my leather boots and dress shoes polished, reconditioned, and/or repaired (new soles and heels) at East Cobb Shoe Repair. They've consistently done an excellent job!! Because of their outstanding work and reasonable prices, I've been able to really extend the life of my boots and shoes---since boots can be an especially expensive purchase, getting them polished and repaired has saved me a lot of money in the long run. Always honest about whether or not he thinks a repair can be done, David was even able to clean paint off a pair of my husband''s leather shoes after another place had tried unsuccessfully; and he's repaired a couple of leather tote bag handles for me. I highly recommend this business!!

I love my Frye boots but I was shocked at how fast the original soles wore out. And they were always a bit slippery for my needs - motorcycling and warehouse work. David helped me see that I hadn't damaged the leather upper yet (though I was close) and he spent a good amount of time talking to me about how I use my boots and finding a Vibram sole that works WAY better for me than the original soles. I must confess, even though I wanted Vibram soles I didn't want to change the appearance of the boot. I didn't want them to look like cool cowboy/motorcycle boots with a waffle stomper hiking boot tread. He helped me find some that will wear many times longer than the original soles and will be non slip for me. How do they look? Judge for yourself. David charged me a third of what the boots cost me new to make them better than new. I can't thank him enough. And when these soles wear out someday? - because I will wear them out - I'll take them back to David for resoling again. PS: To the person who gave him a one star review because he had something you needed and then you found it for $3.25 less somewhere else?? You think that warrants giving him a one star review and ruining his excellent average? YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. You got what you needed and he got some money to pay the rent and keep the lights on so he'll be around to help you REPAIR YOUR BOOTS AND SHOES! If you ever read this I hope you'll reconsider what you did and delete your review. Thank you.

A friend told me about this place, which is tucked near a muffler shop and I had not even realizes was there. I am so happy I stopped by. I had a belt I needed shortened, but I did not want to sacrifice the aesthetic quality of it. The owner worked with me on the spot and was able to adjust the belt as I waited. He did a wonderful job and was a pleasure to speak with in the process. I would definitely come back here to have other items repaired.

I recently purchased a JT Foote Tongue Pads for some shoes. I was impressed with the new shoes inventory in the store and had all intensions of checking out his sales. But after paying almost $5 for a JT Foote Tongue for an existing pair of shoes (which I found else where for $1.75), I will never go back.

I used David for the first time to recondition a pair of Allen Edmond Dress Shoes and they turned out fantastic. The shoes are as good as new and the quality of the workmanship & materials is excellent. He is now reconditioning a second pair since I was so pleased with the first pair. I would highly recommend David and East Cobb Shoes & Repair to anyone looking for quality leather repair work.
