I normally only have a copay for office visits, but this place coded the claim to insurance as emgerncy care, so I was hit with an unexpected bill over $100 for a simple office visit. All insurance is differnt, but this place is the only place I've had a problem with. I wouldn't use them unless you have to.

We went into the facility thinking my husband had indigestion and found out he was having a heart attack! My husband doubted it all and didn't want to go to the ER. The doctor took the time to explain the dangers to my husband and me. He was so patient! And, he was right! My husband had the best care. We highly recommend East Cobb Ugent Care.
We live in the area and use this facility as mcuh as possible. The staff is kind and caring. The physicians are knowledgeable and the facility is so clean. We rarely have any wait at all!
I had a follow up appt with Dr. Wallace today after a trip to the ER for dehydration because of a stomach flu. I have never met a doctor so caring and compassionate. he took the time to answer all my questions. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a PCP, urgent care, etc. the nurses are wonderful as well along with dr. Katz.

I called these guys a year ago after getting into a minor car accident, and received advice over the phone (free). I didn't write a review, since I hadn't actually been in, but they were tremendously generous and helpful. Recently, when I recently fell and got injured, I went. They were awesome - they saw me quickly, the environment was clean and pleasant, the doctors and assistants were all very kind, thorough in their exam, and fixed me up very well. It was 1000% better than going to an emergency room, and I thought they did a great job. I'm especially grateful that they take my insurance, and I wouldn't hestitate to go back for any other urgent care issues.

I went to East Cobb Urgent Care yesterday for a possible toe fracture, and was delightfully surprised by the kindness, efficiency and professionalism of all the folks that took care of me. Dr. Winokur, Sarah and Homero were exceedingly patient, informative and really caring. I only picked this particular center because I made phone calls around the area, and found that they had the shortest current wait time, but what a happy surprise. I will always now go to East Cobb Urgent Center for my family's needs. They are the best.Bravo!

This place is a ripoff. They had a H1N1 flumist drive and my wife and 2 daughters went. They charged $240 each for my daughters and $120 for my wife. The kids were double because they recommended a booster. At $120/pop no wonder they recommend it. If we had seen the bill before the booster we would not have gone back. We also will not be going back for any reason in the future and would not recommend them to anyone.

My daughter was sick so my wife took her to this place. She had an upper respiratory infection (a bad cold) as it turned out. Little did we know that their billing practices would cost us significantly more than any other place we would go. Unlike other nearby urgent care centers, they bill every visit as if it were actually urgent care, which places the service in a whole different category with our insurance carrier. Even though the doctor only saw my daughter for a "sick visit" it was coded as urgent care when they filed with our insurance. We have United Healthcare (state of Georgia employee health plan), who told me that East Cobb Urgent Care need not code their reimbursement requests this way, but the billing manager at East Cobb Urgent care said they only bill one way as a matter of policy. After multiple discussions, they refused to bill our service as a normal doctors visit, which is all my daughter received. Therefore, instead of a $30 copay (and no deductable), I was stuck with a $45 copay and had to pay the remainder of the bill since we had not met our deductable for the year. Instead of $30, I paid $175. What a deal!

I developed an issue and could not see a physician at a regular office. One of the doctor office receptionists recommended East Cobb Urgent Care. I was hesitant, but since it was my only timely option, I gave it a try. They saw me almost immediately, diagnosed the issue, wrote a prescription that provided immediate relief, and referred me to a specialist, who also turned out to be excellent. I am really impressed by the whole experience.

I am a moderate in my reviews - believe me, I'll post both good and bad ratings with no second thoughts. That being said.. My daughter had a small laceration on her toe, and I took her in on a Friday evening, about 15 minutes before they closed. I was concerned that we were imposing, but they were very friendly, took their time, and the physician was excellent (good bed side manners for the kiddo as well).
