Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. And did I mention Terrible. I booked these guys because they were middle of the road in terms of their price in their quote and decided against a better reviewed company in an effort to same some cash. So many things went wrong that I don't have the time to go into, but sufficed to say that these guys were unproffesional, highly disorganised, and lazy. I had some feeling that they would not all speak english so I color coordidnated the labels on the boxes to the colored constuction paper I placed on the doors of each room, and that still was not enough for these guys to figure it out. They put items in the wrong spots requiring re-movement, they mixed up the railing for the different bed sets, they broke several frames, they did not bring the plastic cover for our new WHITE carpet that promised. But the worst part is that all of their incompetent behavior cost me, was qouted 10 hrs but took 13.5, and that was with me finally asking them to leave with job not done.So it actually cost me more than what the professionals were charging. Do yourself a favor and don't make my mistake, get the real pros not

I've tried very hard to get this company to acknowledge the damage they caused to my furniture but they are impossible to deal with. I will have to take them to court. Stay far away. First of all they were 1 1/2 hours late. 30 minutes before they should have been at my home I called and the driver (supervisor Hugo) told me that I had to understand that he was busy. Once they got to my home Hugo asked me if I was going to help because he saw me sitting down. I advised that why he was hired. They did not shrink wrap any of the furniture. They just put blankets over my washer & dryer only. The crew asked that I purchase them water and they would pay me back; so I did. Of course when the work was done I asked that they take the drinks out of my price and Hugo act as if I hurt his feelings then proceeded to ask for a tip because his crew only made $8 an hour. I advised that I wasn't made out of money and didn't have the extra funds to pay for a tip. Hugo and his crew would not leave my home until I agreed to do so. I'm in the process of unpacking as we speak and found several items damaged & broken. I called the office and spoke with Francis and explained the damage thus far; I was promised a callback from the owner but I'm still waiting. I would like to add I purchase the insurance in case of damages; so why haven't I rec'd a callback yet. I will update this message once my problem is taken care of. But for right now, please don't use this company. You will regret

They argued with me about using the moving bolts for my EXPENSIVE front load washer....afterall, they are the professionals....so they got their way and didn;t use them due to their insisting they didn't need them. once I unpacked my things and went to use my front load washer for the first time....it vibrated and jumped more than it ever had! I called EGM and spoke to their receptionist and told her that I had purchased FULL COVERAGE movers insurance through them and even opted for the NO DEDUCTABLE. She said she'd let management know to give me a call. Meanwhile,I couldn't use my washer bec it would cause more damage. 2 weeks went by and I heard nothing from anyone at EGM...so I called back and insisted on talking to management...the same receptionist said "oh management has been really hard to get ahold of in the last 2 weeks since you called...but I spoke to the owner about your washer and she said that it would not be covered bec we didn't actually drop it" after i insisted on talking to the owner right then..she said "oh she's not avail right now" i said well, actually your movers did DROP MY WASHER down 10 steps in my stairwell and this should be covered under the insur plan...long story short....I never received a phone call from any type of management, the owner or the receptionist....whirlpool came out to fix my washer and verified that it was the move that caused it and I had to pay out of pocket for the maint call. 6 weeks later, still nothing from EGM!!!

I chose EGM based on the Kudzu reviews. I had used several other well known companies in the past and had problems with all of them. The first time EGM moved me was 6/09 and Hugo was in charge. They removed table legs and wrapped EVERYTHING. I can't say that for some of the larger companies. They were fast careful, and proffessional. I just used them again to move items out of storage, and they were just as good! Somehow I managed to get Hugo again- he's great!

I hired 3 guys and a truck. They were decent, but far away from professionals and slackers. It took them 3.5 hours to get furniture ONLY out of my 3 bedrooms condo, without any boxes or fragile items. It took them about 30 min to get refrigerator through the door; my husband did it by himself when he moved in. They were from Salvador or Ecuador and did not speak English, so there was a lot of pointing. When we got to my new house, they unloaded everything fast and not in the right places, and then they informed me that they have another appointment on the other side of the city and had to go, so I was left to move the rest of the stuff and put the mattresses and everything by myself, which was the purpose of hiring these people. They tore up my mattresses and I could not find the hardware from the bed as they did not give it to me when disassembled the bed. They damaged walls in my new house carrying furniture and broke the door of the grille. It was my first time hiring someone to move and very disappointing. My husband hurt his back and could not do it. I was expecting to get better experience, but I got what I paid for. Next time I will pay more so I don't have to go through they same miserable time I went through with Easygoing Movers. They also asked me for some cash on the top of what I paid to Easygoing Movers for their poor service, but I did not have any at that time.

We recently used Easygoing Movers to move into our new home. They started out great - were right on time and started working very quickly. After about an hour and a half, they slowed down considerably. This was not the only problem. We had several boxes dropped by them while they were moving (small boxes, not heavy at all). They also dropped a computer tower onto the driveway. Additionally, while they were moving, they damaged a few door frames in our new home due to carelessness. And finally, our bed had whole pieces broken off of the wood frame after they were done with it due to the way they packaged it. Also, several other complaints...Since two of the three men moving us did not speak English, they could not understand where items should go. After they left, we realized they put a good deal of boxes in the wrong areas because they couldn't understand what we said. We chose this moving company because of the reviews on Kudzu. After our extremely negative experience, I am starting to believe that the company may be posting their own reviews on the website in order to gain business. They definitely were NOT what the other reviews said. Find someone else!

We moved about 6 miles away from where we lived (from an apartment to a house). The move took a little over 3 hours, but things went pretty well. The movers arrived on time and got to work straight away. They didn't work slowly to drive up the price. My only complaint is that at the end, we found a "kitchen--fragile!" box at the bottom of a pile of books, but nothing was broken. I'd definitely recommend the company. They were the cheapest one I could find, and it seemed like a good value, since we didn't have to lug books down three flights of stairs.

My husband was in the Army. This move from Atlanta to N. Georgia was our 23rd move. It was the easiest and best move we've had. Marco and his team were on time, professional, energetic, and cheerful through the packing, loading, and unloading. Our furniture and other goods arrived in great shape and were handled very carefully. The movers were dedicated to making sure that everything was where we wanted it and that we were happy. I hope we don't have to move a 24th time, but if we do, I'll call them! Jo Ray Van Vliet

Easygoing recently moved, not only our home but our restaurant as well. Both moves had to be completed within 10 days w/ no room for error. We decided to go with their hourly rate rather than the binding estimate. My wife & myself had various concerns & each time we called or e-mailed we were reassured and actually encouraged to call anytime. Not only were these moves completed without complications, but in the end the total cost of both moves(calculated individually) was well under all flat rates, including theirs, that we had received. These guys do not waste time or doddle. They were expedient, professional, courteous, & genuinely smiling throughout. Thank you again, EGM! I will be sending referrals & will not hesitate to use you again, though I hope it is not for a long time to come.

I had scheduled my move for the end of the month. I called the company the morning of the move as no movers had showed up as scheduled, but the calls kept going to voicemail. I even called the toll free numbers but they were disconnected. After 2 hours I was able to speak with an employee who told me that the truck was out of commission and they had over booked clients and if they could move my things the next day. I was shocked I had to move out as my lease had ended and now the company with such high reviews was leaving me stranded,. I cancelled the move and was able to contact another mover Agape movers who were available later in the afternoon. I never received an apology call back from management or even the owner. Please avoid this company .

My last movers were horrid so these guys were better in comparison. Vivian was nice as all the reviews said but she said she would call me at 8:00am on moving day and she didn't. When the guys got there they were nice but they did many little things to try to stretch the time. For instance they would carry boxes one at a time instead of using the hand trucks. We asked them why weren't they using them and then they went and got them. Vivian told me since I was working within a budget they would do as much as possible to try to cut your time down but they kept talking to me of ways to get more time. They were nice and mannerable and worked hard after we spoke with them but not as great as they told me they would be and not worth $140 an hour (most expensive price I was quoted but I used them because of the excellent reviews here) Not angry but not impressed.

Dear Gemini, first of all, allow me to begin by thanking you for your business. I can understand your frustration regarding the issue of carrying just one box at a time without the use of a dolly. It is our main goal to transport our client's belongings safely WITHOUT breaking anything. You made me aware that quite a few boxes contained crystal & other breakables. As my movers picked them up, they could hear the sound of colliding crystal, etc. inside the boxes. Rather than to ignore this fact and put said boxes on a dolly or ask you to repack them,(which would have taken a longer time & cost you extra) my men opted to carry your boxes separately one by one. It is imperative, that when packing your own boxes, you use PLENTY of packing materials, such as paper, bubble wrap, etc. This way nothing can break & your move can be accomplished in a shorter period of time. In regards to the morning phone call, or lack of it, I would like to inform you that we had two numbers for you. One home #, which I myself called and left all necessary information on your machine and a work # which I decided not to call assuming you would be at home for the move. I have no logical explanation as to why you would not have received that message on your home phone. That is something that is completely out of my control. I hope this explanation makes you feel a little bit better about your disappointment and hopefully you will see our company's actions in a different light. Once again, thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. Best regards, Vivien Bercovici/Manager
I called at the last minute for a local move and they were able to squeeze me in. Everything was perfect! Marco and the rest of the crew was very helpful and went above and beyond to get everything done efficiently. I recommend Easygoing movers!
