I've been using Ebenezer for all my pet's healthcare since I moved into the area over 10 years ago. It is very obvious from the staff's demeanor that they love their job! They have always treated my pets with the utmost care and compassion. The prices are reasonable and the medical care is a cut above. The facility is clean and, unlike other vets, it smells good! I've been to other vets in the past and honestly feel like Ebenezer is the best around.

Thanks for the wonderful comments and for your patronage over the last 10 years! It has been our pleasure to serve you!
The staff at the Ebenezer Animal Hospital is one of the friendliest and most competent I have ever experienced. I found out about them when I took in a stray female kitten which I eventually had to get spayed. At that time my job cut hours very bad though and I wouldn't have been able to pay the whole amount (which was including shots and post-operative pills only about 120 bucks), so they told me that they accept the Care Credit Card which is a credit card for medical stuff (that way you can't go and spend all the money on stupid crap like with a normal credit card). Ebenezer Animal Hospital is the only vet in this area accepting the Care Credit Card, and so it all worked out well. We applied for the Card at the vet and got approved right away for a limit of 2,700 dollars. The cat got fixed, I was very satisfied with everything. We also went there to get my mom-in-law's new dog fixed too (used the Care Credit Card again) and soon I will introduce my own dogs to their new vet. I also love how even on the phone I always get all the information needed, even an estimate of what costs I might have to expect. And about those reviews complaining about the staff trying to sell something: even a vet is a business. In most grocery stores you get asked by the cashiers if you'd like to buy some special sales item, where's the problem with the vet asking too? If you don't want to buy it, just say NO and quit yer whining.

We fully understand that healthcare cost can strain any budget and make every attempt to provide options for our clients. Thanks for passing along your positive experience!
As the owner of four cats, I completely disagree with the negative reviews listed below. Several months ago, my 7 month old kitten somehow found a ribbon, ate it, and required surgery to remove it. I felt that she received great medical care, was treated very well by all parties at Ebenezer and I received excellent information on her care. This has been true with my other routine cat care visits. Occasionally, the wait time can be a bit long, but I find that at my own personal physician's office too. Emergencies happen.

Thanks so much for entrusting us with your cats' care! We hope to continue providing the same great service that you have grown to expect from our hospital. We are always striving to improve so thank you for bringing the wait time concerns to our attention.
Very rude staff and ownership. They have absolutely no clue how to handle pets. It is an absolute mystery to me why they're still in business.

We are truly sorry that you feel this way and would love to speak with you regarding any issues you have with our service. As always, information from our clients, either positive or negative, allows us to grow and improve our quality of care. Please accept our sincerest apologies for our failure to provide you with a positive experience.
We got a dog from here that did not work out. Per her request, I returned it to the tech we got it from. I was called the next day and told to get the dog because it did not get along with the tech's dog. The other techs in this office know I have been battling cancer. I explained to them I was not feeling well. I was informed that they were willing to call this poor tech in who just had a death in her family to come get the dog. That the vet would not allow the dog to stay until Monday. I went and got the dog. That tech definitely needed to be with her family. Thank God for Richardson Rescue!!!

Unfortunately, this situation was related to a personal transaction between a staffmember and a client. Our hospital was not involved in the "adoption" process of this animal and therefore could not step in and be of assistance in the matter. I apologize for any misunderstanding that may have been caused by the situation. It is our goal to provide the highest quality healthcare and service to our patients and clients. Unfortunately, in this case, we were not involved and could not provide the requested service.
This place is an absolute scam. After waiting for an extended period of time I finally saw the vet. The very minute my appointment began with him he was more interested in shoving products down my throat more so than my dogs treatment. My dog has suffered with arthitis for years and it's been the same thing she goes in and gets checked and I get a prescript for her medicines. After my appointment was done and he realized I wasn't buying his prescript I had to literally fight for over an hour in order to get a prescript. He took off in the back of the building and he wouldn't come out and talk to me. He was a complete coward! Don't use this vet they're unprofessional, rude, and only care about their money.

There have been many developments in products related to arthritis over the last few years. Many of these products can decrease the need for prescription drugs that at times can be harmful to the pet. I believe the doctor in this case was attempting to provide a product with less side effects than the typical prescription medication that you were accustomed. It is our goal to offer the safest and most effective means of treatment in each case but we must leave it up to our clients to accept our recommendations.
We have been useing Ebenezer Animal Hospital since we moved to Rock Hill 3 years ago. It is very close to home and the times are convienient. We have 2 small dogs that are very old and need lots of TLC. We are pleased with the general care we get, but would like a better appointment system, the waiting time is not very good, apart from that we are satisfied.
