After reading several positive reviews, I decided to give Econo a try. I am so glad that I did. Less than an hour after my call a tech was at my door. Good customer service followup when delay and difficulty with the parts company and the manufacturer getting parts. Some difficulty with contact person and technician speaking English very poorly.... Excellent, professional service! A tenant called me that her refrigerator was not cooling properly; the refrigerator wasn't that old and I dreaded having to buy a new one. I found Econo Appliance by doing a Google search and reading the great reviews. They were at the tenant's condo within an hour and quickly fixed the problem. I also had them out to my home to fix a washing machine. They were in and out within 30 min. and problem solved for a reasonable fee. I am so glad to know about this San Diego company! They also repair microwaves, etc.
I called at 2:30 on a saturday to set up an appointment for Monday (hopefully) to get my refrigerator fixed. The freezer would not stay cold and motor was making a lot of noise. The technician thougt he could come that same day and offered to call me back in half an hour. He did call back in half an hour and came a half hour after that. Amazing.
I had an appt with Sears, but did not want to wait until Saturday to have a working freezer/fridge! I called Econo yesterday at about 1:30pm and the tech was out a half hour later, gave me an estimate and completed the repairs within an hour. I was very impressed with the speed, accuracy, and cost of the service. I will definitely use Econo again for any applicance repairs!
We had major difficulty finding companies that could fix our Bosch and Fishel & Paykel Appliances. We tried 3 other companies (in San Diego and Orange County) and they either couldn't fix them or charged us an outrageous amount just to tell us that they 'weren't equipped to repair those brands'. We called Econo Appliance and had someone out there that day! They fixed both appliances in only a few hours and charged me less than all the others. We will only go through them from now on. They should be at the top of the list on here!
My husband has a new saying when it comes to repairs.... "Why bother? Call Econo!!!" It was a couple of days before Thanksgiving and we were expecting 3o+ for dinner. I decided to start a little early on cooking... good thing because half way through baking my second batch of cookies, my oven quits!! Yikes!!!! In a panicked state, I called around for repair service. The first company wanted to charge me an outrageous amount just to look at the oven. Econo Appliance was actually the third company I tried. The friendly office guys got me an appointment that same day. Wow!! The office person was nice and the technician they sent out was just plain awesome!! He thought he would have to order a part that might take a few days (to come in after Thanksgiving), but after talking to someone at his office, the technician was able to complete the job the same day because his "parts guy" drove the part to the job site!! Is that service, or what??? Needless to say, Econo Appliance rescued us from what would have been a nightmare. Next year, I'll start baking in October to avoid this mishap!!! Thank you again, Econo!!
