I found Eddie's about a year ago and wish I would have found him sooner. I have an older Jeep Wrangler that Eddie has worked on several times. He's always honest about what needs to be fixed and his prices are very reasonable. Recently, Eddie put a new starter on the Jeep. Within a day or so of picking it up, I was still having problems starting it. I took it back to Eddie - and within 90 minutes, he ordered a new part, installed and tested it, and I was back on the road. Not only did Eddie NOT charge me anything additional, he made sure that I was able to attend to an important work call that day. He could not help getting a bad part from the parts store (there are occasionally bad parts from the factory) - but he did totally impress me with his honesty and quick fix of the problem. Plus, Eddie is a "car guy" that genuinely likes what he does, knows what he is doing, and it shows. I highly recommend him!

My automotive life consists of purchasing generally unreliable cars then cursing when they break. I have had occasion to use Eddie's services upwards of twenty times; there is no more professional or honest businessman extant, in my experience. He is pleasant, fast with an estimate, generous with his time, and he will always tell you the absolute maximum amount you might need to pay . . . then charge you $500 less. When I was younger, I would solicit second and third opinions every time, only to find that Eddie was cheaper, faster, and of higher quality. He also stands behind his work. Most highly recommended.

Three times we went to the Toyota dealer to get a diagnosis and an estimate. And three times we went to Eddie's to get a honest diagnosis and fixed for MUCH less than what the dealer estimated. The last time was just last week. Van did not start and the dealer said it would cost $600 to fix the alternator. We towed the van to Eddie's where it was diagnosed---and repaired--for no charge. Apparently it was a contact that needed to be cleaned. No joke. People that are this honest should always be busy with business through referrals. A honest and very capable mechanic is hard to find. Eddie's is one of the rare ones out there.

I want to highly recommend Eddie's Automotive in Lilburn. I took my 21 year old truck that had to be towed in from L'ville. We were out looking for trucks because I thought I would just get it repaired and sell it. Now I don't need a new truck because my Mitsubishi hasn't run this well in ten years. Then, I took my Passat in for a brake job and again the work was excellent with no problems. I wish I'd find him a long time ago. It certainly would have saved a lot of aggravation and money.

Eddie's is a mechanic you can trust, which is rare in this day and time. He holds local car care clinics twice a year for free and was great at explaining my repair. Eddies shop and waiting room is clean and not a place I am afraid to go to as a female customer. I recommend anyone looking for an honest mechanic to go see Eddie!

I've used Eddie's for 25 years ... I didn't find him until I'd been in Lilburn 3 years already. Eddie is honest and talks you through every suggested repair. He's saved me bunches by fixing only the necessary. Sometimes it's "No work needed" I recommend him all the time, and no one's come back at me yet.

I recently had my car in to have an estimate on a leaking freeze plug that was in a place that was hard to get to[behind the transmission].Eddie said since the car was so old something might break doing the repair so he would have to charge 800 dollars.I took the car to another garage and got the work done for 326 dollars!

We looked at this vehicle for FREE, we did not want to work on it, customer forced a guess, I gave him a high one.
I heartily recommend Eddie's to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, honest mechanic. He's been my parents' trusted mechanic for years, and I've been bringing him my cars since getting my first beat-up little Honda years ago. (Now I'm a mom of three, and Eddie takes care of my minivan!) I recommend him without reservation.

Has always been straight forward. In 1 instance actually told us we needed no repair on my wife's car. It was simply low on gas and she had parked on a slope. No charge.
