El Mexicana superb Mexican cuisine for the whole family.
Agustin "Leon" Garcia, formerly of El Mexica, has recently opened an intimate family-run restaurant just half-mile south of the old El Mexica location! Great fajitas, awesome margaritas, great daily specials and the best service! 678-373-1726 bridgemexicangourmet.com

This was my favorite Mexican restaurant and they closed early this year. They had the best fajitas around - tons of meat and great pablamo peppers! The best salsa and margaritas too! We found a new place though, and its really good too, so if you are like us and miss El Mexica, give our new place a try...El Torrero on 92 at King Road (near Trader Joe's) - they have even BETTER margaritas, and the service is even more friendly!!! The fajitas aren't as good as El Mexica though, but the rest of the food is really good.

What happened??? We were there one week, and the next they were closed :( They had the best, biggest meat fajitas EVER! Great rice, fresh veggies, fresh/hot chips. We miss them!

This WAS the best Mexican food around the area. What happened? Went there on Saturday and they're closed! I've been a fan since they were located in the Roswell Mill. Anyone have a clue if they reopened elsewhere? Thanks.

My favorite mex restaurant in all of Atlanta. We eat mex food coast to coast and this is still one of our favorites. You won't find this food in any other mex restaurant in Atlanta. Just excellent!

The best thing about El Mexica is the food is very fresh and not "generic" like so many of the "chains" around town. Their fresh guacamole is delicous - very chucky, filled with onion and garlic and lemon. The chicken dishes are superb - a great smokey grilled flavor. The atmosphere is a little "cold" as far as this is a large place and not especially cozy, but they do their best to decorate and make it festive. Go for the food and you will not be dissapoitned!

This restaurant offers great food in a nice atmosphere...good for the whole family. The live music on Friday nights and regular crowd that attends is great fun!

Watch out for those margaritas, they're killer! Great food, fresh ingredients, good staff. This place is a regular stop for us. Just be ready for the spicey food - this is not for the tame American! Reasonably priced.
