Always have great service and great food. The menu is always updated and this is a great place to meet with friends for happy hour. Chips and salsa rate a ten.

Taco shops have better food at better prices, but the restaurant is nice inside. It is hard to pay 2X as much for food you can get a local taco shop.

Typical mexican/american type mexican food. Quick service, good drinks, great for large office gatherings.

For some reason this is my least favorite El Torito in San Diego. Tucked back next to the 15 freeway the windows in the restaurant overlook the parking lot (bleh). Their sunday brunch is pretty good but lunch is not so good. Too much dressing on the salads. But service is quick and friendly.

I have always preferred El Torito hands-down over other chain mexican restaurants. Great food and drinks, nice atmosphere. Love it!
