On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. HomeCare Services provide companionship and personal care to those who want to maintain their independence and remain in the comfort of their own homes. Home health services are provided to adults with long-term disabilities, Alzheimer's Disease, dementia, depression, stroke, heart conditions, and those recovering after an illness or surgery. Despite the challenges of age or illness, Eldercare home health caregivers makes it possible for the elderly to remain in familiar surroundings, participate in community activities, go to church, attend meetings, tend to personal relationships and maintain a normal relationship with family and friends. This is important to families who choose Eldercare home health services.
Service Is Personal And Flexible
Eldercare understands the burdens and difficulties of elderly care-giving and meets each family's particular needs by offering flexibility. Assistance is available by the hour, by the day or by assignment. Companion caregivers, willing to live in, are also available. At Eldercare, participation in the CENTER for SENIORS may also be scheduled in conjunction with homecare to reduce costs and provide greater opportunity for interaction with others. Each home care client is given free membership to the center.

All Caregivers are Certified
Eldercare's Personal Care Companions are Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). They provide personal attention and friendship. The client and home health companion can share walks, talks, shopping and errands. They can enjoy a game of cards or a favorite TV show. An Eldercare home health companion can help with light housekeeping, preparing meals, transportation, or scheduling appointments. Personal Care Companions also assists with dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and medication reminders.
A Personal Plan Of Care Is Important
After an initial phone interview, a home visit is scheduled when the entire family can come together to discuss their concerns and plan a care-giving strategy. An Eldercare home health professional, trained to help, will listen and explain the various care giving options, which might be available. Eldercare placement personnel match the home health and personal needs of the family with the most appropriate skills, experience and personality of the home health worker.
