NICE JOB, 2/21/2011

I called them out to my home to repair the hall way light switch which was not working. I booked a express appointment which they showed up in a hour like the lady on the phone said. They advised... me that there was to many things on one circuit, and that it would be best if I got a new one installed. Great Job!

Great Job!.

The work that was done, was done to my satisfaction. The guys from this company are very nice fast and respectful. They cleaned up once they were done left me with a receipt so that I know how much I spent and what was all done and the cause of the issue. Having your meter and mass ripped of the side of your house is not a pretty site.

Job well done!

They replaced my kitchen light for me. My ceiling was too high for me to reach and they did it at a reasonable price. I can't complain with the work and I even signed up for an agreement where they come out once a year and check my panel and all the electrical throughout my home. This make me feel safe! Great job!

Best Electricians!

This is an excellent company to use. They always show up promptly to do the work and get the job done in a timely manner. I have used Them several times for my Plumbing, heating, and electrical needs. The workers are always extremely knowledgeable, and whenever calling the office, the staff are always polite and helpful. I have reccomended Them to all of my friends and family, and those who have already used them, have agreed. I would highly reccomend using this company!\r

Job Done Right

Great work. Needed a 3 way switch installed and a faulty outlet checked. I had a tight schedule & wanted a specific time. Other companies gave me a 6 hr time slot what a waste of a day. Technician was thorough, and on time. He had all the parts with him to do the job. Will definitely use them in the future.\r\rBy the way I was posting this tonight because I was so pleased with their work...I was rather surprised at the negative feed back I just read. My experience was nothing like that at all! The tech was professional, he had a set guide for their prices. I have had service work before and well it has never been cheap, I felt I paid a fair price and was very impressed with the work, the electrician and the fact that it is done! Now ask me about a certain tree removal company that charged me even though they ""forgot"" to remove the two dead trees that I had them come out to do in the first place...

Unbelievably incompetent

Oh my God! We went with Electro-serve for our little studs-out remodel because the technician originally quoted us the lowest price we had seen. Turns out it was low because the technician was just plain grossly incompetent and either too arrogant or too dishonest to admit it. I'll just list some of the most egregious problems. He refused to label the new electrical panel (which we probably didn't really need). He just wired everything into it with no idea what was where. He refuses to label it until the rest of the remodel is completely done--some kind of extortion to force us to keep the incompetent twit on the job?--meanwhile we can't finish the job because we can't pass inspection because he hasn't labeled the panel.\rThen there's the dryer receptacle. The original work order called for a dryer receptacle. He put in a single 20 amp receptacle for the washer and dryer. We insisted that it wouldn't pass inspection without a 30 amp dedicated dryer circuit. He put it on a separate work order and tried to bill us for it. He refused to do it unless we paid him extra. Same thing for the missing outlet that he neglected to wire into the circuit. Can't pass inspection without an outlet in that wall, but he won't rewire his mistake unless we pay him extra. \rWhen the inspector called attention to these and about 12 other corrections, he fixed about three of them (one of those, he ""fixed"" incorrectly) and told us that about half the rest were our fault because we refused to pay him extra to do it right, and for the others, he would call the inspector and tell her why she was wrong.\rWe called the company about this, and they said the technician had told them he had made all the corrections.\rFraud or gross incompetence? Never, ever hire them.

Simply Jipped

Lights off in our master bedroom, bathroom and neighbooring bathrrom in the hallway. Electrician came out, misdiagnosed the problem saying we had an old box and the power was distributed throughout the house incorrectly. He fixed it, 4,400 USD... the lights still didnt work. Afterward he said he didnt say replacing the box and breakers would fix it, it just needed to be done-- which was not the case, he told us that was the problem. Fixing the breakers would cost MORE money, maybe not depending on the previous contract we signed and its stipulations, he might be able to fix it with no extra cost, but he wasnt promising anything (obviously). We called the company, and the receptionist dispatcher was extremely rude telling me on the phone how rediculous I was being for being upset over the 4,400 dollars I just spent that still didnt fix my problem. Finally got a manager to come inspect the work, and help the guy-- they fixed the short in the bedroom light-- took them about 3 minutes. Finally everything was done, I was so happy just to get them out of my house. Completely lacking in honesty, I will never go back to them for ANYTHING EVER again. : ) I hope this review will save someone their hard earned money.

Out to lunch and I'm not paying for it!

I wouldn't recommend these guys for anything, unless you like being deceived. I made an appt for 49$ service fee(for estimate, it would have been waived if I agreed to service), to have an electrician add one (1) receptacle to a closet that had electicity in the same void. The people in the office told me they had no idea what a ballpark price would be or min or max pricing for this(cause I'm sure they've never added a receptacle before because nobody has been dumb enough to pay them to do it). The technician arrived and after looking at the service required gave a price of $775.00, he stated it would probably take him an hour and approx $15.00 in supplies. I, of course, aked why the high price. His reply was that he doesn't establish the prices the company does and they have a minimum 670 fee for this service. This was not acceptable to me so I paid the 49 dollar trip fee. I then called the office to discuss my displeasure. I asked the operator why nobody explained their true pricing policies and why I wasn't at least given a minimum price for the service. The operator told me they don't give out prices over the phone because the technician has to do this. I told her the technician's price was 775 for about an hour's worth of work. She told they don't charge by the hour but by the bid(so if the same service, adding a receptacle, would have taken 5 hours it would be the same price??) and that the technician doesn't make the price he goes off a price book. Apparently nobody is allowed to see the sacred price book expect the technician. The price book obviously has a minimum charge of 670 that nobody is willing to tell you about, probably because they realize they are charging way too much for their services and nobody would have them out to their house knowingly. P.S. this company is related to ""Plumb Serve""
