Once they have designed your website, you will probably will not hear from them again if you need to make a change and willing to pay for it. we had to call and write e mails for weeks and months. We never got to talk to the person who is supposed to be the webmaster. if and when,bob answered ,took the request, promised to do it "today" and it was not done. When it was done after more calls and e mails, it was partial and usually with lots of mistakes. wrong text at the wrong page and mix up with photos. this wafer we wrote specific and clear instructions. We fell for it because we saw nice designs, but it simply doesn't worth it. there are many others that would be efficient and reliable. We are filing a complaint at the BBB.

Yet another case of sour grapes. The client said it themselves when they indicated they were not willing to pay for it. We have done hours of billable work that we have not been compensated for. In this case, the client has been with us for several years & has even won an award for their website within their industry. Also, we have gone the extra mile on many occasions, done updates & edits pro bono in an effort to cater to this client's "special needs." Part of the problem with this particular client is that there has been a communication breakdown at times & the request have been convoluted & massive. In other words, difficult for us to understand & beyond the scope of changes that could "knocked out" in a short period of time. According to our contract, we even give 30 days of free updates for text & photos after the website goes live in order to "tweak" the site. I get the feeling that some of our clients believe we do this for fun & that it is a hobby of ours. They don't realize that even though we have a real passion for our work, we also have to make a living at it just as they are expected to be compensated for their services. We do place our clients in a queue in the order the request come in & our normal turn around time is 24 hours. At the same time, they have to realize that they are not the only client we have (we have done over 1,000 websites making us the largest web design firm in the Atlanta area). We do not treat any client differently than another, no matter what the size of the account is. Our business is conducted with the utmost integrity & honesty & it is our mission to deliver more than we promise and are paid for. In this case, I will welcome an inquiry from the BBB. It is also interesting to note that the only reviews we have had on Kudzu have been negative. The hundreds of satisfied clients do not bother to use this site. We do not solicit testimonials, however we can provide dozens of references upon request. In the future, we will solicit testimonials for this site, since Kudzu in their infinite wisdom refuses to delete accounts.
Several years ago, EIS built our business website. We need to transfer web hosting services and have a few changes made to the site. We called and were advised to submit a request. We did so 18 days ago, but despite multiple follow-up phone calls to the Elegant Image Studios main number and directly to individuals working for EIS, we received no response beyond the automated email response to the request. This has cost us money as we are still paying for the old web host as well as the new one. We are going with a different vendor due to the lack of response.

This is what happens when you don't pay your bill. We have a strict policy of responding to all request within 24 hours, however the client has to pay our hourly rate of $125 unless they have signed up for our monthly update program for only $49.95. This about half of what most design firms charge. We have a strict policy of not dealing with abusive clients & in this case the client was fired. This is nothing more than sour grapes. If you go to our linkedin pages, you see nothing but glowing testimonials & over 80% of our clients have been with us for years. We have many clients that we have done 2nd & 3rd generation websites for. If we were not responsive, they would not have come back to us.
