Fun store with a great name, 8/27/2008

Any store named after a Captain Beefheart song has a lot going for it! The store reminds me of Decatur CD in that it is CD-heavy (no vinyl, I believe) and seems skewed towards the tastes of the... owners a bit, which is great. I've found fun stuff in their regular bins, and also their sale bins. Good location too, near a bookstore and lots of restaurants.

Fill your Ipod/phone/computer/chip/CDplayer/etc., 9/03/2007

If you need music, Ella Guru has got it or can get it or can show you something new you never heard before. They have the traditional bargain bin and DVDs and posters and listening posts and great... service and good prices and convenient hours and everything. I go there to stock up for Christmas and birthdays. It's usually less than the mall and tons faster. My taste always runs to the new CDs somehow. Then of course they'll buy from you any old music you may have lying around. It's a great deal.
