I have to admit that I was truely impressed with my first visit here, I have not had the pleasure of being there in the past, but recently received a coupon, and decided to take advantage of it. They offer a variety of services at reasonable prices, and I have to say I like the way they have priced their foil highlights, b/c you pay a flat $15 fee and then additional $2 for each foil, which is pretty reasonable $35 for 9 foils, considering other places only give you 6 for this price.

I went with my wife to get her hair down - kicking and screaming! However in watching their process I was amazed and they probably thought - why is that guy staring and everyone. I haven't been to too many salons before but I have heard plenty from my wife. And, I might add, her hair has looked much better in the 1 year that she has been driving across town than it has ever looked. I can't speak for my wife but as far as what I witnessed, I was impressed!

Customer Service is something this salon does not understand. Me and my daughter have been going for a year. Will never go back again. They will not return a phone call if you have a problem. Once they get your money, they do not stand behind there word.

I went there because I had a coupon and I asked for a specific choppy and layered haircut that I normally get and love at Toni and Guy. The hairstylist immediately said "well im not really a fan of those choppy hair cuts how about we do something else" ? I was like wow you have got to be kidding me.

My experience was disappointing. I made an appointment for cut & highlights. I waited for 20 minutes before a very brief consultation, then shampoo, then waited 20 more minutes before she came back and put "stain" on my hair. I asked if she was doing highlights and she said no, the coupon only pays for 1 color treatment and we could do highlights if I wanted to pay for them. Ok..at least my roots are being covered. Haircut was ok but I asked that my bangs not be above my eyebrows and no hair hanging in my eyes. Bangs are above my eyebrow and the style (which I fixed at home) was hanging in my face. When I brought it to her attention she said I could go home and play with it. Not a great experience to earn my business as a paying client but nothing disastrous.

I had a coupon for this salon and decided to try it. My hair came out red and I had to go somewhere after this and get another haircut and color. I still had pieces hanging on my ear...It was awful.

i received a gift certificate in the mail from elon a couple of weeks ago and decided to give them a shot. i was nervous because i had been going somewhere else for years. unfortunately for my old salon, i will be switching to elon! they did such a wonderful job! im already looking forward to my next appointment.

I have been going to see Leo for 4 years. Why do you ask? Leo is the most amazing hairdresser I have ever been to! You know how you go to a hairdresser, leave saying to yourself, I will fix it when I get home hoping no one sees you. You say this because you hate the way they fix it. Well, when you leave Leo, you are thinking to yourself "how the heck can I fix it the way he does?" He is the BEST!!!

They are absolutely horrible! Do not go there! The "stylist" Janice cut my hair so short that she actually gave me a mullet! It looks like someone closed his eyes, took a chunk from the back of my hair and chopped it off two inches away from my scalp. I called them back for another appointment to fix it. Dee Dee was horrible. She made me wait an hour. Then she attempted to fix my hair. She took literally 10 minutes and after that it looked exactly the same! They are the worst salon i've ever been to in my entire life!! Fantastic sams would have done a better job. I want my money back! Oh, also, they are extremely unfriendly and too expensive for their lack of skill. They are absolutley terrible!

writing here, but also sending a note to the shop itself, WHAT A PLEASURE!! received a promotional certificate and figured what the heck....was disappointed with their much touted closely located competitor...but what a surprise! Staff was wonderful, treated me with dignity and respect, Brittany was awesome, didn't make me feel like I was too old to be going to the salon, worked with me, helpful, great advice, took her time with me...just great! you have a new customer forever! and Prices were fantastic for this kind of quality establishment.

I was a regular customer at Elon Salon 8 years ago. i had moved out of state and moved back into the area. Decided to go back to on Dec 11, 2008 to Elon Salon. It was an awful experience from check in all the way to check out. After I paid and tried to talk to the representative that took my money all she said was oh, I am sorry. She didn't even ask what happened or could she help me with the issues. I hated the way I was treated, I hated waiting for 35 minutes to get my scheduled haircut, and most of all i hated my haircut. I tried to tell the hairdresser that I wasn't too pleased with the cut, even her response was not very nice. First of all hairdressers don't like to listen to the customer at all even when there is a picture to show. second of all too many interruptions by other co-workers during the hair cutting process so the hairdresser gets distracted. I thought nicole was nice in the beginning, but felt rushed since she was 35 minutes late getting started, rushed through my hair cut and blowdry, not really styled. Then made a not so nice remark when I made a comment about how I liked the right side better than the left side. I need someone to fix this style. i wanted a more of a one length bob style cut. I got inverted bob where front is longer than back. It is also stacked in the back which I hate! NOne of that goes with "one length" hair cut. I am defintiely not pleased. My hair is so short, too short to even have it fixed. scared to go back and have redone.

I went to Elon Salon for a cut and highlight job. I am surprised to read other reviews about Elon being expensive .. for my cut and highlight it was only $130, which is a great price for the quality! I am perfectly fine to have my highlights done by an assistant, whatever gets me out of there faster. My friend also goes to Elon and she loves it. I found the staff to be very efficient and professional, as well as friendly. I am excited to visit this salon again!

I went to Elon Salon because I was not happy with the color I was getting at other places and I heard that Elon was the "color specialist". I did get wonderful color and I liked my cut too but I wasn't happy with the service. I went several times and after about 3 times I noticed that I was having to wait in my chair on my stylist to finish my hair because she was working on someone else or she would have an "assitant" blow dry it because she was too busy. She was clearly overbooked because I would see her working on two or three of us at a time. I don't mind a stylist doing a quick cut while my color is processing, but I expect them to be there once it is done, not waitingon them. At the price I was paying I wanted the expert person to be styling my hair and not have an assitant do more than half the work. Like I said, my hair turned out great, but at these high prices the service should be excellent and it simply is not. I now go to a different salon where I get the same great results but way better service.
