Elsa's Cleaning Service began in Atlanta in the spring of 1980. From its very inception we have always had the basic belief that if you provide the best service possible at a reasonable cost, two things would happen; your customers will be satisfied and your business will build upon that principle.
From the time a customer calls, our desire is to serve. On initial contact we will ask of you, what are your specific needs? Is it weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly? We will set a time for.. an interview and an inspection of your home. Depending upon your particular initial "deep cleaning" which often means that at least the manager and cleaner will be present, but more often both the owners will be there to "get their hands dirty", but more importantly, they will get to know your house intimately and its specific needs.
We are not a large chain business that opens an office in every major city in the US and is built by major advertising and not much more. You know the kind I'm referring to-the kind that sends three or four people into your house with some equipment and the directions to "Clean it," Then two weeks later three or four different faces show up with directions to "Clean it." Each and every time you have your home cleaned by us, it is by the same person unless they are on vacation. Yes, I said vacation! We care for our employees and give them what they deserve. They work hard and deserve a vacation!
In 1988, we had a unique opportunity presented to us and we were able to expand out of state to Flagstaff, AZ. We did this with much on-site, long-term personal involvement. This Elsa's Cleaning Service of Flagstaff became quite successful and boasted a monthly service of 280 cleanings a month. Some of these customers are judges, lawyers and very well known entertainment personalities, whom we have always respected their privacy.
We have sold this business outright in 1999 and today, it is still operating successfully under the same principles as when it was started, attesting to the standard of good service, long term customers. That said, Atlanta has and will be our main focus.

We are licensed and incorporated in the State of Georgia. We carry both bonding and liability insurance with the Hartford Insurance Group. We have been accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

Elsa's cleaning service was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad I tried it! They come out to your house and go through it with you and tell you everything they will do to clean it. They do a great job and my house always looks spotless after they leave. My house smells good, the floors are immaculate, my kitchen appliances sparkle, my bed is made and bathrooms are clean. As a mom with two young children it has been such a great help to me. I would highly recommend them if you are considering starting a regular service.
Elsa's cleaning provides at excellent service at a reasonable. I have been using her services for about 2 months and I'm extremely satisfied.
We decided it was time to arrange for a housecleaning service. Our health problems were making it increasingly difficult for us. I checked the reviews and gave Elsa a call. She explained her service, and we made an appointment for her to come and give us an estimate for deep "spring cleaning" versus a less-deep 1st clean, and ongoing biweekly cleaning of our main floor. Elsa and her husband Roger spent a generous amount of time going through our house and explaining what would be done during the initial cleaning and the regular visits. We quickly decided we wanted the special spring cleaning, and I am so glad we did. Elsa, Roger, and crew arrived the next week and spent all day doing everything from cleaning the outside of the kitchen cabinets, polishing door knobs and light fixtures, cleaning baseboards and floors, cleaning ceiling fans, and vacuuming the upholstery and dusting the furniture with Endust and microfiber cloths. Everything looked fantastic; we kept smiling for hours. I also like very much that the same person will be coming to our house for the ongoing cleaning. Elsa and her staff are truly great, and we are so glad we found them.
I have been a customer of Elsa's cleaning service for several months now and I can honestly say that I have been impressed with every aspect of this business. I have tried other cleaning services, but regretted using them because they were not reliable and would many times overlook simple tasks. You could just tell that these other places were just rushing to get the job done. After reading some reviews about Elsa's service, I decided to give her a call. From the moment she started talking, I could tell that my experience with her would be much different. Elsa takes a lot of pride in her company and makes it her priority to ensure her customers are beyond satisfied. She oversees the cleanings when needed and always checks in with me to make sure I am happy. Our first cleaning cost a little extra, but it was worth it. My house has never looked better. And, when I needed to rearrange my schedule with her due to company arriving, she did not hestiate to find a way to make it work out for me. The cleaning staff is always nice and friendly and they work very hard. They take as long as necessary to get the job done. I've been so pleased with Elsa's Cleaning Service. Elsa is personally involved with each client, helps clean your house the first time, and assigns one person who will be "your" cleaner each time. I like the predictability of knowing exactly when Nora will come, and she is always very punctual, which helps when you have small children. I know every cleaning date through the end of the year. I appreciate their thoroughness in cleaning (always a fantastic job) and the professionalism and organization their business displays. They are also very friendly, and have been flexible to work with me on date conflicts.
I've tried different cleaning services over the past few years, and Elsa's is the best. I am so glad to have found this Cleaning Service. They are dependable, friendly, conscientious, and above all they clean with care and attention to detail. You can't go wrong with Elsa's!

Because of economic reasons, I had let things go in my house. I quickly found Elsa's Cleaning Service is worth every penny. I couldn't get caught up. She came in, went quickly and efficiently to work, cleaning things I forgot about and so thoroughly, I felt so good and cared for. The house smells so good and everything well cleaned, polished.....I am so happy with her service. I will cut corners in other places to keep her.
I have been using Elsa's Cleaning service since summer 2010 and they have been great and a huge help ever since (and continue to be). They are always there on the job as scheduled and they pay careful attention to the cleaning details. Elsa herself is really professional and extremely easy to work with. Definitely recommend!
Initially we hired Elsa and her "team" to do a much needed top-to-bottom cleaning of our home. Immediately I noticed a large scratch on the hardwood floors in my foyer after they had left. I brought this to the owner's attention and she denied that she or anyone in her crew had damaged the floor, and said she would bring some "scratch cover" to cover it. I dismissed this, and we continued with bi-weekly cleanings following this expensive "start-up" cleaning. Often major dusting was missed in several ares, and 2 times the master shower stall still had mildew and was not cleaned. I told Elsa about this, she had her person come back many days later and "finish". My husband kept saying "she's not doing a good job and this is not worth what you are paying"; but I continued. There was a death in the family and I had to cancel (3 days in advance) and postpone my cleaning. I was charged a $25 cancellation fee which I thought was inappropriate given the circumstances, yet I continued. Then Elsa phoned me less than 24 hours before I was expecting a cleaning and said they could not get to me for 2 more weeks. This was my "after Christmas" cleaning, and also I had mentioned to Elsa that it was urgent that my house be cleaned this particular week because of a big party and a houseguest who was coming. Inadequate and unprofessional! Enough!
We have never received a poor rating from any customer. That is quite an accomplishment!
On July 23, 2010, under carrieatlanta, she wrote about us, “ WHAT A RELIEF! For too many years I have been overwhelmed and struggling with a big house to maintain. I was so pleased to get a referral to Elsa from one of my neighbors. Elsa and her team came yesterday and did a TOP NOTCH job in a much needed top-to-bottom cleaning of our home. The cleaning exceeded my expectations, and I am thrilled to have Elsa scheduled on a regular basis. Her standards are high, and they even brought up my trashcans from the street which blew me away! I feel rescued. THANK YOU! Our goal is to put out the best effort we can to make all our customers as happy as possible with our work, to satisfy their need. 1)Scratch on hardwood floors; we did not make that scratch. The hardwood floors are old and have scratches throughout. Also, they have a dog that is in and out of the house. She waited a week after cleaning her house to ask us to remove the scratch. We never initiated to apply scratch cover; we have never used this product before; it looked like someone moved some furniture around after we cleaned the house and left a scratch on it. 2)She stated to us from day one that her house was cluttered and realizes that we cannot dust everything. She pointed out some of the things that could be dusted and made it clear to us not to touch or dust their large TV and other items. We made note of everything she said. She may have found some dust on the areas we were told not to touch. Again, she complained about the dust a week after the job was done. We have always asked our customers to please let us know immediately, if there is any problem with the work so we can take care of it ASAP. After one week, there is always going to be dust on any furniture. 3) As far as the bath shower, we removed all the mildew that we could possibly could as the shower is old and needed more work than any mildew remover can. When, she complained about the shower, I personally checked it and found nothing wrong. The shower was CLEANED. We went ahead and cleaned it again just to please her. 4)As far as a $25 FEE, she had cancelled three times in time of cleaning her home and was not charged a fee. However, there is an agreement form that she signed stating that there is a $25 fee for cancellations if 24 hours is not given or rescheduled within that week. 5) Her husband called and left a message that he needed to cancel the cleaning because of finances. That was all. He never mentioned anything about our cleaning. However, she wrote to me asking to schedule a cleaning again. Redwine house was supposed to be cleaned today; but, because of the icy roads, I had to cancel all of our cleanings till next week. We were willing to reschedule a cleaning for her, but she was very upset and would not listen to me. WE HAVE TRIED SO HARD TO PLEASE THIS CUSTOMER AND REGRET HER INCORRECT ACCUSATIONS.
They've been wonderful. Trustworthy, thorough, considerate, and professional. The first service was a deep cleaning after we'd done a lot of remodeling and painting, and they got the house spotless. They make sure every time that they're doing what we want done.

I just had a spring cleaning done by Elsa and her crew. They did a great job. My experience with Elsa so far has been excellent. She is quick to respond by telephone or email (which is great!)She is very good about covering all the details so there is no misunderstanding. I have contracted for a monthly cleaning which will start next month. I'll keep you posted on that!
