I'm so thankful for the nurses and all the staff at Embracing Arms. Joy, in particular, was outstanding. They led me through the death and dying process so that I could support my sister. She died too young in life, but this hospice facility gave us peace and understanding. I greatly appreciate all they have done for our family.

Terrible. A "recruiter" came to the hospital when my mother was ill to tell me about this hospice. None of it was true. I was led to believe that hospice services last 6 months; after I placed my mother, administrators told me to plan to move her in 2 weeks, if she was still alive. When she arrived there, I could find no one to meet the ambulance. Mother was gasping for oxygen, and all the nurses were "in a meeting" and no one would come. Nurses aides hung out at the end of the hall and ignored every request. If a patient arrives after hours, they will not eat until the next day. This was the most uncaring place I have ever seen, and nothing the administrators told me was true.

I called everyday to check on my Father. One told me he was talking to his Grandmother (already dead). She laughed out lud and hard about it. The day he died I was given vitals better than mine. My aunt visited less than two hours after that call. He had the death rattle and was turning blue. They are all liars and I suppose they get a kick out of seeing people die. I wouldn't send my dog there.

My Grandmother was able to spend her last days very peacefully at Embracing Hospice in Snellville. All of the staff was excellent. They were so gentle and caring. In addition to being attentive to her, they assisted us with in coping at such a difficult time. I would highly recommend this facility.
