Always wanted to have Lasik done on and off for 15 yrs. Finally made an appointment for a consulation, thinking Emory would provide the best service. I graduated from L.S.U. Dental School so I have a lot of faith with the school affiliation in providing the utmost professional care. Came in and went through the whole tests prior to seeing the Physician. Finally the physician came in to review all the information and stated that I qualify for LASIK. Naturally I was a little concern with all the side effects therefore had couple of questions. However I was brushed off with an excuse that she had another surgery to attend to. She mentioned that if I had any other questions, she can give me her phone number or emails. I went out, paid for the visit and never came back.

Had Lasik Surgey through Emory Laser - and while they may be a little expensive comparatively speaking, why go "low cost" with something as important as your eyes?! They were very professional, had good follow-up and I got good results (20/15). I did hear, though, that they are battling out the usage of "Emory" in their name, as it implies a connection to Emory University; apparantly they are not actually affiliated with the University.
