We found Emperial Hardwood Floors online. We called them to come out and give us a quote to screen and re-coat our hardwood floors that were 8 years old. Ricky was wonderful! He was very accommodating with scheduling us when we wanted the floors done as well as answering any questions we had. The prices were beyond reasonable- we did get estimates from a few others places, too. We debated getting the oil-based poly versus the water-based poly; in the end, we chose the water based. The quality went beyond our expectations. The floors were dry the next day and there was no smell. The crew that worked on our floors were very polite and professional. This is a very trustworthy company and we will definitely use Emperial Hardwood Floor in the future.

I am happy to say that Emperial Hardwood Floors did a wonderful job on my hardwood floor project. From start to finish all of the people I dealt with were top notch. Ricky, the owner, was a great resource for all things related to hardwood flooring and installation. He spent time with me on the phone and at my house explaining all the details involved with my project. He wanted to make sure there were no surprises in the end, and he patiently answered the many questions that I had. We decided to put solid prefinished hardwood floors in the entire downstairs, stair landings, and upstairs hallway. George and his installation crew did an absolutely beautiful and meticulous job. They were all such hard workers and they worked together so efficiently. They arrived every day when they said they would and cleaned up before they left. We love our beautiful hardwood floors! Thank you Emperial Hardwood Floors for such a wonderful job!

I first had Emperial come out almost a decade ago to refinish my floors. They said the floors only needed recoating (what? you want less of my money?) and they did it while I was out of town. I came back to perfectly done floors. So when I needed refinishing a few years ago (5 children & a cat aren't the best things for wood floors), it was time to refinish and their price was WAY lower than I expected. When they finished, the floors looked brand new. I couldn't be happier with the job. So when I decided to add (matching) hardwoods to a previously carpeted room, of course I called Emperial and once again, their price was among the best, and the quality was top notch. I never have to worry about them leaving behind a mess, either. This is what working with professional skilled craftsmen should always be like.

Had site-finished hardwoods installed in almost entire house plus staircase. Ricky, Oz and crew did great job. This was only company I interviewed that had a solution to install hardwoods on existing carpeted pre-fab staircase. Knowledgeable, professional, polite and hardworking crew. Excellent price for the amount of work and the quality of the floor. My floors were site-finished and look great but if you go this route, be prepared for LOTS of dust and DAYS of clean-up. I'd schedule a cleaning crew if I had it to do over. Very pleased with my floors. Looks like a different house.

We just used Emperial Hardwood Floors for the large job of refinishing all of the existing hardwoods in our home, along with adding hardwoods in several bedrooms. We wanted the work completed before we moved into our home, and they went above and beyond to make sure they completed the work within our timeline. We had them darken our hardwoods to a custom color (1/2 Jacobean and 1/2 Ebony) in order to match the existing dark hardwood stairs, and the result is absolutely gorgeous. The floors are evenly stained, the poly is a lovely level of sheen, and we couldn't be happier with the end result. There are lots of hardwood refinishers out there that will quote ridiculously cheap prices to refinish your floors, but if quality work and floors that you're happy with is your goal, then this is your company. I would hire then again in a heartbeat.

For the last year, we were considering refinishing our 20 year old hardwood floors. Out of the 3 companies we called, only one actually showed up for the appointment, but that one never sent us a quote! So this planned project went on the back burner. After several months, I came across Emperial Hardwood Floors. I thought I will give it one more shot. Rick the owner actually came to our house and followed up with the cost estimate. We decided to use Emperial. Then Rick came out a couple of days before they were scheduled to begin work so that he could sand down a small area to show us different stain options. They worked us into the schedule so that it could be done while we were away on vacation. We were so pleased when we got back in town and saw our like new gorgeous floors! This company actually wants your business and does an excellent job.

Ricky and the folks at Emperial Hardwood Floors did an excellent job resurfacing the 34 year-old hardwoods in my house. They also replaced several damaged boards in my foyer, blending the new boards so well that I cannot tell where the damaged boards used to be. I would not hesitate to recommend Emperial Hardwood Floors to anyone looking to resurface damaged and/or extremely worn floors.

We give Ricky and his crew five stars. They were profesional, prompt, curteous and did a great job. They told us exactly what to expect and finished the job when they said they would. His team was always on time and worked extremely hard. All of the floors on the first level of our home were completely sanded to the bare wood and then refinished. They look terrific. We highly recommend Emperial Hardwood Floors and thank them for a great job! Jim and Jan

Two of my co-workers had highly recommended Emperial Hardwood Floors several years ago. After meeting with the company owner, I felt completely comfortable in awarding him the bid. The work was completed this week at my home. I had to have floors removed/replaced in the dining room and half-bath. The other floors on the same level were sanded and refinished. The flooring crew was prompt, courteous, and attentive to detail. They took great pride in their workmanship. After the polyurethane had dried for a couple of days, I noticed a few things that needed to be done. The owner and crew returned the next day and addressed each of my concerns. I would use Emperial Hardwood Floors again and highly recommend them.

This is the second time we have used Emperial. The first job was to refinish seal all downstairs hardwoods. They bring a team of 4 (ask for Team Leader George) who are all experienced and work together very efficiently Removed Kitchen Tiles and compound. Hauled away debris. Installed hardwood floors and stained all on first day. Worked from 8:30 until 2:00. No lunch break. Very friendly and express appreciation for getting the job.

Ricky and Lori Core were an absolute pleasure to work with. They always did what they said. I had 3 quotes and Emperial Hardwood Floors was the cheapest and besides they put down 3 coats of poly. You can contact them by phone or email and they respond promptly to both. Ricky's team always arrived on time and were very nice and polite. I would recommend them to anyone and I will certainly use them again in the future. I had my hallway sanded, stained, and 3 coats of poly. My dinning room and entryway had to have carpet and tack strips removed before they could start. They had to make a small repair to the floor and you can't even tell it had to be repaired. The house was built in 1964 and I didn't have a clue what might be under all that carpet. They did an awesome job and made this whole project enjoyable for me. Ricky was excellant in helping me pick out the stain. He was spot on. Thank you Ricky and Lori, you have a wonderful business and a wonderful crew!!!!

I hired a contractor that exaggerated their experience with hardwood floors, after three weeks I let them go and found Emperial. They came in, made great suggestions on how to fix the problems and finished the job in 4 days while I was out of town as promised. The floors came out perfect and the value is incredible.
