Insisted on 8lb pad w/ our carpet to ensure durability. Sales rep said no problem, the installer verbally confirmed w/ me that he would be installing 8lb pad. I found 7lb pad wrappers after the installation. The installer then told me that "that's what they gave me", next excuse I was told was, "the warehouse was out of 8lb pad", then the next was "8lb pad would void you're warranty". Home Depot had no problem offering a similar carpet with 8lb pad. Currently processing a lawsuit. ***** STAY AWAY!!!!!! ********

Empire installed carpeting and tile throughout our entire home. The tile was completed perfectly but the carpet installation left much to be desired. After about one month, the carpet began showing seams and the edges were jagged. We called Empire and they sent an inspector who determined that full carpet replacement would be appropriate. Empire also allowed us to change the color of the replacement carpet. The replacement was completed quickly and efficiently. Empire fulfilled their obligation to us and in the end we were made whole. Randy (sales) helped us all the way and deserves a great deal of thanks. I WOULD USE EMPIRE CARPETS AGAIN AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Don't ever buy a room rug from them because they don't know how to make them. They also do not stand behind their product. I wish I had purchased my carper from a different company. I will never buy from them again or recommend them to anyone.

I called for an appointment for hardwood flooring. Someone took down all of my information and scheduled an appointment for me the next day. No one showed up or called. I called customer service the next week and the customer service rep. could not give me a reason why I was treated like this. She said she would investigate. Pretty disappointing experience.

We tried to purchase new floors from Empire we were told that the floor was a name brand and the warranty would cover additional owners. When I checked online I found the floor was an off brand that I knew nothing about and it had bad reviews it was not made by an American company known for quality but a chineses company with no history of quality products in the USA. We cnceled and were told we would receive a complete refund but our card was charged a deposit. Poor serivice poor quality and no honesty.
