Empire Heating & Air Conditioning

I live in Chattanooga, Tn but Martin the owner is a very good friend. Last summer my house never got below 80 degrees in the summer and warmer than 65 degrees in the winter. I needed help, so I asked Martin if he would take a look and give me an estimate. He did a walkdown of the house and the unit. Gave me a detailed report on the recommendations and suggested a local dealer. He said if the local dealer would not do for price he quoted he would send crew from Atlanta. Where that was 7 months ago. Just got my July a/c bill and it was half the power usage than last year and the HOUSE IS A COOL 69 DEGREES. Same results for the winter months. THANKS Martin.

These folks are the best. I just had my summer A/C check up. Dan did a great job. The office told me he was on the way. He was there in minutes. Thanks for keeping me cool this summer.

I used Empire to fix a recent AC breakdown. Here's my experience:

-- Telephone service and scheduling was good.

-- The technician was a bit talkative, but he seemed to be an expert at his job. He solved the problem quickly. He did set a very dirty bag down on a very clean and expensive dining room chair. (The dirt came up)

-- The value was average. I thought the charges were a bit high, but then again it is expert service and fixing an AC in Atlanta during the summertime. So I suppose I cannot expect great value.

-- The company seems to prefer service calls from people on maintenance plan, so I joined the maintenance plan.

-- Overall, a decent company with good people. I would use them again.

Empire is great. We've had their service going 5 years now. The service guys are very punctual, and fix the issue the first time. They take the time to explain what the problem is, and give me options for fixing it. We are on a service plan, have been for five years, and when we have an issue, especially in the summer time, they are out within hours to get us cool again. Thanks Empire!.

This company has been out to my home 3 times to fix the same problem. They charge me a service call each time. They can't seem to fix my furnace and keep on running up expenses. The last time they told me to replace the furnace. MY GOD, the furnace is only 4 years old. Stay away from this company. I had RS Andrews out and they fixed it in one visit and guaranteed there work.
