Our early-80s home was sorely lacking in attic insulation. Rather than go through another cold winter with high heating bills, we called Energy Conservation Solutions. In addition to adding blown-in insulation, we had some other tasks that needed to be done in the attic: air sealing, insulating skylight shafts, insulating a vaulted ceiling, covering the attic fan, and pulling up a large amount of plywood in order to properly insulate more of the attic space. One of the the things I loved about ECS was that they were able to give us a detailed estimate that included each individual task and let us choose what we wanted them to do and what we wanted to tackle ourselves. We did get a second estimate, and ECS' pricing was very fair. Even though it took them several hours longer than expected to remove the plywood because it turns out that a previous owner had laid down a layer of MDF below it, Shane refused to add charges to our estimate to account for the additional labor. The crew were pleasant, worked the entire time they were in our home, and cleaned up after themselves. It was nice that they laid down a sheet of plastic in the hallway to help catch a lot of the dust and debris. They also hauled away all of the plywood that was pulled up. The attic looks great and we're very pleased with the result--and we can already tell that the heater is cycling less during cold temperatures than it did last winter! Thanks, ECS
Energy Conservation solutions removed the plywood floor in our attic, blew in fiberglass insulation to at least R-30, insulated two skylight shafts using fiberglass batts and foam board, and added insulation to a vaulted ceiling using blown-in fiberglass, fiberglass batts, and foam board.

Our electric bill is less than HALF of what it was before Shane and team came here to assess our home and improve its efficiency. If that's not a compelling argument to use them I don't know what is.

Energy Conservation Solutions did a great job. I've already recommended them to my neighbor and a friend. What I liked about them the most was the attention they provided me throughout the entire process. At the end of every work day, I received a call from either Shane or his project manager, giving me detailed updates of what work was done, what obstacles were encountered and how they were resolved. They were quick to identify a bathroom rug that one of the employees inadvertently got minimal dirt on and replaced it with a new rug immediately. They arrived on time for all appointments and adhered to all of their time estimates for work completion. Most importunity the work quality is 100% and our house now feels much more comfortable than ever. Couldn't be happier.

Everyone at ECS was great to work with. They did a complete assessment of my home and provided a list of all items that would reduce my energy spend and they indicated which would provide the most "bang for my buck". They worked within my budget and didn't try to push extra services/costs while balancing potential rebates to help offset some of the costs. They are very professional and communicate very well. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the entire process.

I just bought a 103 year old house and asked ECS to perform an audit during my inspection. They provided me a report showing my good and bad areas and then worked with me on a prioritized plan. They bid for the work and unbeknownst to them I had others bid as well. ECS was almost always cheaper and the work they produced was outstanding. Additionally they were able to get me ~$2,000 back from GAPower because of all the energy savings we made. A tremendous value! I can't recommend this company more!

Just wanted to take a minute to confirm what others have said. The guys at ECS are great to work with. My wife and I got an energy audit through ECS and then decided to do spray foam insulation in the attic and subflooring. This along with other minor work have made a huge difference! Shane and his guys were really flexible with the times they were able to work and very responsive to requests along the way. Go with ECS if you're looking for an energy audit or additional work! We're glad we did.

We got ECS in after getting an energy audit with another company, and having a rough idea of what we needed to do. ECS filled in the details. The house is much more comfortable now, and retains its heat well. They reduced air leakage by 39%. The work they did included a crawlspace encapsulation, new ducting, attic encapsulation, and replacing a large section of rotted siding and chimney and bay window, plus numerous smaller upgrades. In total, it cost around $15,000 for our three bedroom ranch home. When we ran into problems with ongoing rain, rotten wood, and termite inspection requirements, ECS quickly gave us options and solutions and made things better. No concern or question was too small!

My husband and I just finished working with the fine folks at ECS. After hiring them to conduct an energy audit, we decided to have foam insulation sprayed into our original roofline, attic and crawlspace (among other things-)and have reduced our leakage by 45%! David and Shane are dedicated to energy conservation and both of them and the rest of the staff were a pleasure to work with. Great dry wall work too!

We hired ECS to do an energy audit, then used them to replace our HVAC system (2 systems, including cooling units and furnaces), replace our water heater, install sprayfoam insulation in our attic ceiling, install sprayfoam insulation under the stairs to the basement, install weather stripping on our exterior doors, and insulate around plumbing penetrations. We are very pleased with the results of this project. The energy audit revealed what we had suspected, that our home had not been well-built and was quite "leaky". Shane was responsive in answering all our questions during the planning phase and was patient as we considered various options. The ECS employees were very pleasant to work with and were reliable about what they said they would do. They dealt with the occasional glitches in the project quickly. The difference in the comfort level of our home is impressive. We spent the summer of 2011 sweltering because of 28 year old HVAC equipment and poor insulation. ECS did their work in April, 2012 and this past summer our home has been a joy - and our HVAC bill has gone down (most notably from $278 in July 2011 to $118 in July 2012). An added benefit was that they filled out most of the forms for rebates for which we qualified.

We worked with Shane to obtain an energy audit and then complete about $7,000 worth of work to our house. He was incredibly quick to respond to every question we had during the process. He was professional at all times and was dedicated to performing quality work on our home. We couldn't be more pleased with the whole process.

Isn't it wonderful when you find true professionals who care about the quality of their work and deliver on all of their promises? I wish Shane and David could train other service providers to follow their example! On time, fees were very reasonable and the job was done right the first time. I wish they were general contractors so I could hire them to take care of everything at my home and office building!

Worked with another company prior to working with Shane and David. THe difference was night and day. They are extremely easy to wotk with and have great pricing. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do energy efficiency retrofits.

Energy Conservation Solutions did an excellent job and made for a great experience. Not only were they excellent at what they do, they are very professional while they do it. On time, friendly and they take customer service very seriously. Shane and the team went above and beyond for us and it was not about the "bottom line" rather the customer experience to them, which is very hard to find these days. I couldn't recommend them more.

Shane and David did a great job on my energy audit and installation of foam insulation. Their testing showed my house went from 34% efficiency to 86% efficiency and I should save about $500 a year in heating and cooling. They were amazingly quick - the insulation was installed the same week. They also submitted all the paperwork for the Ga Power and SHINE rebates. I would highly recommend.
