I went in for a snoring evaluation. I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time and an additional 15 minutes in the exam room. I spoke to Dr. Howard K. Herman about a procedure for 5minutes and left. I received a bill for an additional $30.58. I called the billing office and asked why they billed me for a nasopharyngoscopy. They told me that the Dr. did this and I said that he didn't. It involves a fiber optic scope. They said that if he looked into my nose, that is what the charge is for. I told them I was going to let my insurance company know that they didn't do this and they should not pay the charge. They should also investigate any other payments they made. An hour later, they called back and told me they took care of the charges.
