This is supposed to be a "Christian" dating service. Well where were the Christians running it? I dealt with one of the most pushiest and rudest sales person. I told him I had to think about it and get back to him. That was when the pushing started. All I asked for was one day to think about it. The price way too expensive as well. What, you can only love thy neighbor as thy self if you are making money?

Equally Yoked is a private Christian dating club and the person you are claiming to be rude signs up approximately 30 happy members per month. We do have membership fees. We cannot provide such a quality service for free. We work with everyone who comes in to make sure they can be a member no matter what their financial circumstance.equallyyokedatlanta.com
EY has taken the awkwardness out of dating. Since joining EY in Atlanta, I have had so much fun meeting good Christian men while I look for that special someone to share my life with. EY has given me the peace of mind and offers me a great environment to meet other Christian singles! Love it!

Wow! What a comfortable and pleasant experience! Meeting quality, true Christian men was so challenging until I joined EY in Atlanta. Within a few months, I found the love of my life and the man that I married!

We are glad that we could facilitate a match for you. We wish you many blessings in your union. Thank you for the review, equallyyokedatlanta.com
To anyone considering this service the cheapest plan they offer was $2500. And looking at some of the other posts the cost may well be different for each customer which explains why they don't post any pricing, but of course their salesman (and he was nothing more than a salesman) told me its because the benefits of the service could not be described to the full extent online. So I drove an hour only to be told that I don't have faith because I was not willing to put $2500 on a credit card. I wish I was exaggerating but he literally tried to lead me to believe this was God's will and that I am only proving that I don't have faith.

We are a Christian organization and everyone here signs a statement of faith. If this was a truthful statement that person would not be employed by us. equallyyokedatlanta.com
My sister, who is mentally ill, went into their office for an interview and to get more info. She was interested in their services until she found out the price. She told them repeatedly that she could not afford it. She asked if she could call her sister who handles her finances and the salesperson told her she could make the decision herself. He saw her weaknesses and used them against her. He wore her down until she signed a contract and gave them her credit card information. I talked to the salesperson to try and get the contract canceled. He tried to argue with me. How shameless to take advantage of someone like my sister!

This was a mentally fit 59 year old lady who read about our service on our web site, called in, and made an appointment. She drove herself down to our office and seemed fully competent during her interview. She joined our service for $100. Later on that afternoon the sister of this member called claiming that her sister was mentally ill and that we had taken advantage of her. We gladly gave back the $100 and removed her from our system. Once seeing that this review had been posted we requested to the sister of this member to remove this review based on the fact that we honored her request. She promised she would but never did.equallyyokedatlanta.com

We are so happy you could be equally yoked with your mate through our service. Thank you for your recommendation and review. equallyyokedatlanta.com
It is hard to understand the other post. I joined EY almost a year ago and although I have not met the right one yet I have been on several dates from EY. I joined EY while they were having thier Valentines Day special, it was 41$ a month. Although this price is higher than other match organizations they do background checks and I know the person on the profile is a real person that had to come into the office as did I. I was treated well by the staff. I recommend EY to anyone who is trying to expand thier social lives.

We do often run some great holiday specials. During the holidays most people focus so much on doing for loved ones but we understand it is nice to be able to do something for yourself as well. This is why we run these great specials. Thank you for your recommendation and review. We appriciate you! equallyyokedatlanta.com
My experience with this office was wonderful...until they got my money. And now, it's nothing short of atrocious. Here's what you get for your money (and I had a 6-month "special" for $500): -Flashy billboards on major ATL highways -Hyped up radio ads on local Christian stations -A beautiful, professional website. That is, until you log in to your specific location page, and then the layout looks like a grade school web design project. What you don't get: anything you were promised. -Some invitations I sent out were NEVER responded to. -I received a Second notification phone call...but I never received a FIRST notification. (Makes me wonder if my notifications were actually made.) -Intake Counselors give the impression they will help with match-making. Their only purpose is to guilt you into separating with your money. -I was told that summer would be a great time to be a member with all the summer member events planned. The only "Member Event" was an invitation to attend church service. I don't know how your church works, but mine isn't social hour. Save your money. AVOID EQUALLY YOKED!!!

This review is being investigated by Kudzu. This review is believed to have come from a disgruntled employee. equallyyokedatlanta.com
I read all the reviews and almost did not keep my appointment. I was very aprehensive. I am so glad I did! It has been an awsome experience! It took a while but after meeting quite a few very nice people I met Bob. He and I will be getting married this fall.

Jubiliant, we are overjoyed that you met Bob through our service. Negative reviews are only natural. Every business, no matter how hard you try, cannot please everyone. Many people have different personalities and some personalities cannot be pleased. Thank you for your review, equallyyokedatlanta.com
I visited Equally Yoked and signed up and I am already dating a nice Christian man and hope to get married soon. To the people who put these bad things on there about them must not be Christians and very unhappy with their lives as I found that every one is strong in their faith and they do 4 background checks as I asked to see mine. I would recommend this service to every person that has a relationship with the lord and wants to find a soul mate. I am glad that this was in God's Plan to join and have been treated so nicely by the staff there and they have been so helpful, loving and professional

Thank you for your recommendation. We are so pleased that you met your soul mate through our service. We screen all of our members carefully to make sure that our service is 100% safe. As I stated before negative reviews are only natural. Every business, no matter how hard they try, cannot please everyone. Many people have different personalities and some personalities cannot be pleased. Thank you for your review, equallyyokedatlanta.com
I have been suckered once or twice in my life, but I never thought that an alleged Christian group would take me for a ride, WOW was I ever wrong. First off they are very quiet about their prices and for a good reason they are outrageous. A one year "membership" is 2000 and it goes up from there. I had signed up one day and the next day wanted to cancel, well it was too late then THERE ARE NO CANCELLATIONS. I was fortunate/unfortunate enough however you want to look at it to reduce it to a 6 month membership for 500. I think of equally yoked as a 500 dollar mistake. Please be very careful if you are considering equally yoked, Christian organization couldn't be further from the truth!

Your screen name says it all. LOL!!! Thanks, equallyyokedatlanta.com
I had the same experience as all these other people reviewing them. Instead of behaving in a christian-like manner, I was coerced and manipulated into thinking they really cared about finding someone for me. I will be reporting them to the BBB as someone suggested. I never got any support, any connections, or any contacts from the company or staff until my pitiful contract was finally over. Don't do this to yourself too. I could've put that money towards mission work or my church instead.

We did not receive a complaint from the Better Business Bureau from this person. We have many happy members and all of our staff are Christians acting in such a manner. equallyyokedatlanta.com
I have a hard time believing that this is a Christian organization. I went down to their rat-hole of an office and was pitched some contrived sales-spiel for about an hour before I found out that they wanted $3000 from me to join for a year (which was the smallest membership interval). When I said I'll have to think and pray about it I was barraged w/ such phrases as: It's a small price to pay for your best friend... You can pay the price or be alone... Life is all about risk... These are the kind of people who give Christians a bad reputation! I will henceforth discourage anyone from using this "service" and encourage everyone else to do the same.
