The staff of Equally Yoked Atlanta's office leaves much to be desired. They are very responsive in the selling/start-up process, as they know many people coming to them are experiencing some level of loneliness. They maximize the interaction up front. Recently, The EY office left a phone message while I was out of town, that another member was interested in being introduced. When I called back three days later, the office manager indicated that there was no record of the call and that I must have mistaken the information. She recommended that I come by in person to discuss this and research this matter. She stated that I must be mistaken about the entire voice mail message. I phoned back to tell her I had listened to the message again, the employee was named Roxanne (who was the manager). She stated that she really didn't know what else she could do to help. The EY staff made me feel silly, stupid and mistaken about a call THEY PLACED. For the $2,500 annual fee I paid, I expect much better interaction and service from the staff. There is no information available about the owners of this franchise, therefore it is impossible to file a formal complaint.

Same story here that you have read on the other posts. The high pressure sales techniques reminded me of the time I was pitched some time share. They prey on people's deepest desires and accuse you of being cheap if you don't fork out a few grand to join their 'christian' organization.

I called Equally Yoked and talked with Christina who apparently is a receptionist. When I ask her the price her comment was that we make it affordable for everyone. I guess I should have ask more, but because I thought it was a Christian organization I thought she was telling the truth. Drove 45 minutes on a Saturday morning and was interviewed for one hour only to learn that the cheapest plan was $3000. What a joke. When I called Christina a week later to tell her that she misled me she hung up on me. Don't waste your time on this one. They care nothing about you only how many thousands they can scam you for. This is no Christian organization. Don't waste your time.

They are not as "Christian" as they claim to be ! Poor background checks,,,yes they are done but I know for a fact ,,some members with domestic violence charges.,,..stalking,,DUI..are permitted to join...Folks, its all about the almighty dollar... If your are a sincere christian hoping to meet someone of your same beliefs ...run...run...far away from E.Q. Memberships are @$ 2000. for about 18-20 months...Oh, no money back if you change your mind and want to cancel ...They got you because you have signed up at their place ! No law will be on your side... no right to change your mind before the 3 days is up... I know being single can be lonely, depressing, and even if you have everything in your life but your soul mate !..but this is the devil's temptation! IF they are slow on business then you may get a Blue light Special!!
