Equity Building Inspection

Our Realtor recommended this company to us and after reviewing their web site, along with numerous others, we decided to use their services. We were not disappointed. The inspector, Michael, really helped us understand the issues with the house. He explained everything in plain English and answered all of our questions. He also gave us a comprehensive report that included pictures and a home repair book which really helped us.

Their services saved us thousands of dollars. We would have never known about a number of defects that they brought to our attention. Well worth every penny we spent.

My husband and I are first time buyers and we really were nervous about this purchase. Michael, at Equity Building Inspection was really nice and professional. He said he had over 20 years of experience so we felt confident in his abilities.

At the end of the inspection he took us around and not only showed us some trouble spots but, also showed us where the emergency shutoff's were. This was really helpful to us since neither my husband or myself are very handy and know little about the mechanics of a house. Good job!

I have made numerous real estate purchases over the last ten years and have to say that this company was great! The owner, Michael Boeger, personally performed the inspection and really took his time to make me feel comfortable with the process. It was obvious he knew what he was doing. He pointed out numerous defects with the property which I would have never seen on my own. This allowed me to negotiate a more favorable price with the buyers. I highly recommend this company. I would suggest asking for Michael. He was really helpful.

At the time we made the offer on the house we eventually bought, we thought we had a pretty good idea of what we were getting into. We did our own walkthru and knew of a few problem areas.

But we thought we’d get an inspector anyway, just to be safe. We had a friend in the construction business who we trust, and he highly recommended Michael at Equity Building Inspection.

Boy did we miss some things on our own inspection. Michael more than paid for himself in catching things we overlooked and also explaining things we just didn’t understand. My husband and I were both happy with the job he did and we were so glad we made the decision to hire an inspector - and a competent one at that. We got a complete inspection report that spelled out everything, and Michael was available to answer any follow-up questions we had.

The staff at EBS is professional, they answered the phone when we called (a real person, not a machine!), and we got our first appointment choice.

I recently retained Equity Building Inspections for my new home purchase. Michael Boeger of Equity did the inspection. I very much wanted to be there during the inspection. Equity worked to accommodate my schedule and made that happen. When I arrived at the property at the inspection time, Equity was already at the property waiting for me. I was very impressed with the inspection report that Equity produced. It was color coded so that I could differentiate between real potential problems with the property (i.e., safety concerns) and more “nit picky” items such as a door that does not latch as well as it should. On the more important issues, Equity photographed the problems and included those photographs in the report so that I could better understand them. Michael took time after the inspection to go through with me his findings and after the report was issued, made clear that he was still available to answer any additional questions that I had concerning the property or the report. Because of Equity Building Inspections, I am confident in my new home purchase and would use them again.
