Met with the Estes salesman(Chase)on Monday of this week. He went through my home examining my current configuration and quoted me on what I asked for and what he suggested. He explained the... differences and options for the two different systems and answered all of my questions at the time. After leaving, other questions came to mind and were answered with a simple phone call. After reviewing the 5 quotes I received from other companies, I awarded the job to Estes. The quote from Estes was not the cheapest that I had received, however I felt that I would get value for my dollar in the long run. The install date was set and I received a call the day before informing me when the install crew would be out. The following morning, the install crew consisting of David and Ryan arrived as promised, introduced themselves, looked over the job to be done and proceeded the installation with their knowledge, expertise and professionalism. They only encountered one minor problem which they quickly overcame with the support of the Estes home base. Approximately 5 1/2 hours after pulling into my driveway, they had removed my old equipment, replaced it with a Infinity System, gave me basic instructions on how the equipment works, and left my home in as good if not better shape then they had found it. Ryan and David are a credit to the Estes company. Seeing how this is my first piece of Carrier equipment in my home, the verdict is still out on that issue. So far, so good. Yesterday Josh B and Marcus E replaced our 15 year old system. They arrived on time, explained what they were going to do, and for the next eight hours they did not stop. After completion our home... was cleaned and the new system was explained..what professionals. Today, Michael Eagle and Philip Kebe sealed and added insulation to our attic. They arrived on time, explained what they were going to do. About seven hours later the job was completed. Again totally professional. From my first dealing ever with Estes through completion, I can not say enough positive about the company and their personnel and quality of work. We had an Estes technician work on one of our units twice a few weeks ago, only to come home from a trip to discover that the same unit was no longer working. In addition, we discovered a mysterious leak in our finished basement related to our other unit. I asked Estes to send a more experienced technician since, frankly, I did not care much for the tech who had worked on the first unit. John was wonderful! He was ultra professional and couldn't have been nicer. Most importantly, he knows his stuff. He quickly figured out the leak issue, explained how it probably happened, repaired it, and tested his theory thoroughly to make sure it was taken care of. On to the unit that had quit working. He also quickly figured out the issue there (a careless error caused by the previous tech), owned up to it that it was Estes mistake, and rectified the problem on their dime. John's service was so exceptional that it restored my faith in Estes completely, and enabled me to give them the 5 star rating appropriate for the "award winning service" that Tommy Estes touts. I'll be sure to ask for John next time!
I have not ever seen a company that is bad as this one. We have had three units that Estes have installed all within a little over two year span. The cadilac unit Carrier carries has only lasted maybe 13 months. Two of the units have had line leaks. We had leaks in the old in effieceint units and had these replaced so it would eliminate service calls. Never the same service man. No one ever comes twice. We had air ducts that were installed only to air condition the attic. I could go on for awhile but you probably have a idea as to we have had nothing but bad service and technicians.

My recent Estes diagnosis and repair was an excellent experience: 1. Repair parts and technicians arrived on the designated day and time 2. Service was performed within the scheduled time 3. Estimate was exactly the repair cost 4. Technician was courteous, knowledgeable, and able to communicate the problem and a set of solutions. Raymond Scott went out of his way in providing service and managing all aspects of the repair. The smoothest service and repair experience I have ever had when dealing with a Heating and air repair. The repair service that I had received from other companies was just a single repair technician, however Raymond was backed by multiple Estes teams (i.e. installation, delivery, technical support, etc.). Have been using Estes for over 40 years. They are incredibly wonderful. Yesterday Carl and Patrick came out to install our new A/C unit; it was late afternoon when they arrived. They left our home with everything working perfectly at 11:30 pm! I kept trying to get them to leave and come back today. But they would not leave, until our A/C was up and running.The Estes family is truly an extraordinary service organization.

I am well pleased with the quality of service that I received from Estes Heating, Air and Plumbing. First of all, Patrick & Carl (Technicians) waited one hour outside my home while I was sleep and didn't hear my phone or the doorbell; this impressed me significantly because they could have easily left but waited patiently to service my home. They went above and beyond to ensure that my AC was working accordingly by checking both the inside and outside units. In addition, they cleaned up behind themselves and were extremely professional. Furthermore, Sandra in the finance dept was resourceful and answered all my questions with excellence. It is evident that Estes takes great pride in exceeding their clients’ expectations. I would recommend Estes to anyone because they will receive the BOMB.COM (another word for fabulous) service. I am so thankful that my AC is running proficiently! I had to replace the cast iron pipes under the foundation of my house and across my front yard. The installation of our new Heating and air conditioning system was handled promptly, efficiently, and very courteously by Michael Elery and his crew, Marcus and Brian. All three team members were clean, competent and helpful. Any questions we had were clearly and fully explained. The appearance of the system including ductwork was immaculate, and Michael's explanation for the programming of the thermostat, was simple and clear. We rate the installation 5 stars, from beginning to end. I will happily recommend Estes to anyone I know who is considering a new HVAC system.

I have the exact part number that needs to be replaced but they refuse to tell me how much they would charge to replace it without a service call. I refuse to do business with a company with a policy like this. It is obvious they are looking to upsell. Very disappointing policy from a company that seems to be well-rated.
In order to warranty the work we perform we have to evaluate the system correctly from the beginning and diagnose the system ourselves. While some parts just fail, many times the parts fail in direct response to other issues. If we replace the part but do not fix the underlying issue and the part fails again what service have we provided for you? Our prices are fair and consistent with anyone else in the market. We have a child with extreme breathing problems. When we told the sales man(Chris Macbride) this he was able to get us taken care of the next day! We had two complete systems installed.3 installers came out(Jared Byron and Carl). They were here on time did everything and gone in a timely manner. Everyone includeing finance people were awesome. My family can't think them enough.

Paul Harrision from Estes made our day by traveling out to Sugar Hill for an emergency service call Thursday.
