I appreciate Louis and his team at the Alpharetta shop. They fix a problem that was misdiagnosed by another shop. I greatly appreciate the service, the courteous and professional attitude. Joe Hood

Terrible! I'd been a loyal customer at EMC for a few years now. I'd never had a problem with Scott or Tom and replaced whatever they advised needed replacing. Recent experience leads me to believe that E36 BMW cars are (now) beyond their expertise. Recently dropped off my E36 for an oil change and a check of two OBDII trouble codes. I specifically asked them to inspect the wire harness in the trunk. I had also asked them to remove the OEM head unit as they could keep it for repairs once they ordered parts to fix the backlit display. I could live without the radio for a week. They had my car for a full work day. When I picked the car up, the two OBDII trouble codes started to appear within the hour. The head unit had not been removed (???). They didn't inspect the wiring harness (???). They changed the oil though and I hope that they at least replaced the crush washer. Fingers crossed! Frustrated and will not be bringing my car back to them as they didn't listen to the customer this time.

As owner, I apologize for your bad experience. Regarding the Brake Light Warning, we replaced the bulb and the error messages went away. It was almost an hour after you left before a Brake Light warning came back. You wanted us to inspect the wiring harness. Did you want to pay to have the entire wiring harness inspected after we replaced the bulb, when there were no more error messages? Wires that control the brake lights go through a fairly large and long wiring harness with many wires. When you came back the next day, my manager explained that the new warning light was most likely a faulty Brake Light Switch, and offered to check and replace it for free, even though we replaced it several years ago. You said that it couldn't be the switch. New and older parts go bad all the time. If they did not, BMW would not need to put warranties on their vehicles. Did you want to pay $500+, to inspect the wiring harness when all that might be wrong is a Free Switch? The technician did inspect the socket with the new bulb and it was fine. I have personally worked on thousands of BMW E36 vehicles and wiring issues are not common. As far as the "oem head unit" (radio), we did not remove it. My manager wanted to make sure you were okay with the estimate before removing the radio.
My wife and I have been taking our cars here for years. Recently purchased a Porsche that needed some service. As usual the bill was around half of what the dealership charges and was completed super fast. They do great work and actually care about their customers which is rare these days.

I was not happy with many of the MB dealership's service departments in the Northern Atlanta area. One of the dealerships even lost my car for an hour when I went in to pick it up! Something had to change. My husband found good reviews for European Motor Cars Windward. We will never go to the dealership again! The guys were all very helpful with all our service needs with our R350. Give them one try and you'll never go back to anyone else!

Thank you for your comment. It was a pleasure serving you. Can you email me @ email@example.com with your contact information so I can send you a gift card.
My Jaguar was 'repaired' at this shop four times for over $2000. The last time they had it in, they couldn't even get it started. I had to have it towed to a competitor who finally repaired it. Jag owners beware!!

This car came in on 11/27/12 not running we simply replaced the ignition amplifier and the customer had no issues for a month. At this time we noticed and informed the customer his engine mounts were bad along with a laundry list of other issues, but the customer declined the repairs. A month later he came in with a bad ignition coil and when replacing the coil we noticed the engine wiring harness insulation was flaking off. We replaced the coil and patched the harness since the customer did not want to replace it. Again the car ran fine. A few days later the car came back with the ignition harness broken because the bad engine mounts allowed the engine to break the harness. We patched the harness (No Charge) and only charged to replace the mounts. Most of this could have been avoided if the customer repaired all the issues we initially reported.
I am a auto dealer who sales highline cars for a living and Jarret at European Motor Cars is the only Service Tech that I will let service any car that I purchase to sell or for my family. The service that he and European Motors Cars provide is beyond amazing! The are knowledgeable, thorough and affordable. My family and I can rest easy knowing that we can take our cars to a service center that will get the job done RIGHT the first time!

Thanks for comment
I came here with my Merc and heard about them from another friend of mine. They took the time to make me understand what to get service on and what I can do later. Very nice and courteous and great service and folks. I saved a lot than going to a MB dealer which would have cost twice or thrice more.

I've been going to European Motors for a few years now and have always received great service at fair prices. They provide detailed explanations of the work that needs to be done to my 2001 BMW and give me a prioritization ... so that I could manage expenses. I highly recommend European Motors!

I have been using these guys for a while and I am always happy with the work. They always carefully explain all work done and let me know things that do not need immediate attention.

I was recommended to European Motor Cars by an old co-worker of mine when my wife's car started having trouble. I have always been a bit apprehensive in regards to repair shops. But the service, quality and price that I received here was amazing! The guys down there are FAST at finding the problem, and even quicker fixing it! So far we have replaced now 3 ignition coils and a Catalytic converter (which went bad and was covered 100% under warranty, even the labor charge!), as well as some other misc things. It seems we have to drop her car off every 3-6 months to have something fixed on it! Scott at the front desk is ALWAYS great! Every time he tries his hardest to find a better deal to help us out, weather its on parts or labor. They always go that extra mile to make us happy, return customers!

European Motor Cars has gone above and beyond what I would expect from ANY mechanic shop. The Land Rover dealership told me I needed to replace the head gasket on my 2003 Discovery to the tune of $2500. European Motor Cars took the time to actually clean the engine and discovered that it was the valve cover gasket, not the head gasket which needed to be replaced. They saved me over $1600 is repair costs (and found the actual problem) by doing a little extra detective work. Later, when I had to have the power steering worked on, they worked late into the night diagnosing and repairing the problem. Great service, good prices. Scott and Bob (and I'm sure the rest of the team) are the best. I highly recommend them.

Im the type of girlie girl who doesn't gets her car serviced like i shld, so i had a horrible break down on the hwy. Anyhow the guys at European Motors really took good care of me. They made me feel very comfortable and explained every single detail to me regarding my MANY repairs. There was also a campaign for my car so i had to take it to the dealer for further repair. Any other repair shop probably wld not hv advise that there was a recall on my Mercedes but the the over all service was great, every1 is nice and i actually sound like an expert whn explaining the service i had done to my car. Thanks to the guys at Euro Moto you hv my business.
