David owns the company, taught HVAC at a tech school, and is the most knowledgeable tech that’s been to my house. Affordably repaired my father-in-law’s A/C (burned-out wires/relays only); didn’t take advantage of him. Has worked for big-name contractors in the past; knows that some have paid techs a commission on installed parts.
Gave me a free second opinion that helped explain my years of compressor problems. Lucidly discussed a number of things that could cause it, and why. Other techs threw bandaid parts on it or said “You need this or that” but didn’t really explain why. David also said my inside unit was using smaller air filters than normal, maybe because original intake hole below furnace was cut too small.
Encouraged me to call him as much as needed to compare apples to apples between other bid and his. Price was the same for comparable equipment, but took his advice and paid about $170 more for more durable condenser. Knowing he’d be the expert installing it was very reassuring.
Extra things he did on the installation for NO EXTRA CHARGE:
* COMPLETELY REMOVED FURNACE and cut bigger intake hole in deck!
* TURNED FURNACE UPSIDE-DOWN to install air-filter clips on bottom for correct-sized filter.
* Installed drain-line access point to check water flow.
* Even added short extension to my WATER HEATER exhaust pipe!
Thoroughly exceeded my expectations! If David comes to your house you’ll get the top of the ladder in experience, knowledge, and honesty.

At first, I was going to call because of the coupon I saw, but then saw the reviews and decided to take a chance. I am happy to say the reviews are right! David did a great job in giving our ancient AC routine maintenance and was very honest and courteous in all respects. The amount of knowledge he showed in his profession is pretty astounding and I will be using his service from here on out. Great service, great pricesit's all there!...

David was referred to me my a neighbor and I am forever grateful. David's service, knowledge, honesty and quality is very hard to find these days. I'm extremely picky about my contractors so if you have an HVAC need please make David your first call.

We needed a new furnace for our upstairs and decided to go with Exact Comfort. They showed up on time. The owner installed the unit which gave us an extra sense of security. He also gave us a second thermostat ($100 value) for our downstairs unit as part of the installation. Best part is they did not have to build a metal transition so David Boswinkle took $100 off the price. Very honest as we would not have known the difference. We will definitely call Exact Comfort again when we need our down stairs AC replaced and we also recommend Exact Comfort to all our friends and neighbors.
