I have been a customer of this facility since October 2009. I have continually paid my rental fee each month on time or early. This month I paid my rent on 1/20 and it is not due until 1/23. I am also vacating the unit on 1/30. Their website says, "There are no refunds of any unused rent for the current rental period. Any prepaid full month's rent paid will be refunded. You can prorate your last month's rent so that you will only pay for the days you will use in your final month. Simply let your store manager know at the time you make your last payment." I made the online payment and called the store manager and she told me that since I already paid it she will not refund it, even though it is not due until 1/23 and is technically prepaid rent. Then on top of that she was rude enough to say that its my fault that I didn't call her first. Now, I am leaving my full paid for unit, only 7 days into the period and they will rent the it to another customer and will receive 2 full months rent on the same unit. Double-dipping in consumers pockets should be against the law, especially with the economy being as it is. I highly recommend using another facility!
