They sent me to a new Doc to do Macular Hole surgery. He used techniques no longer approved for many years. I wonder if it was because I am in an HMO. My eye is permanently damaged and have a loss of Peripheral Vision. When this Dr left the practice soon after, probably dismissed, The 2 remaining Retina Specialists used misdirection and obfuscation as to the cause of my problem. Not till I went to Emory, that I learned that this was a known result of the obsolete procedure used. Be especially cautious about new Docs in this practice... apparently they are poorly screened and the poor results covered up. Luckily, my HMO no longer uses them.

Dr. Fitch and her staff were amazing. Dr. Fitch took plenty of time with me and made me feel very comfortable. She is an expert in her field, but also has a great personality and is easy to discuss matters with. I could not be happier with the whole experience or my beautiful results. Would highly recommend to anyone looking into eyelid surgery.

Dr. Hamilton, in my opinion, is the best corneal specialist in the business. He also does cataract surgeries, laser surgeries, and surgeries for diseases of the cornea. He has a marvelous rapport with his patients and is extremely learned. I recommend him for treating your eyes, he is marvelous. I can't say enough good things about him.

I have been going to Eye Consultants of Atlanta for nine years. During that time I have had the privilege of seeing three of their doctors; Dr. Thomas Harbin, Dr. Starla Fitch and Dr. Charles Patorgis. The clinic is run with great efficiency, the staff is very friendly and helpful and each of the doctors I've seen has been very knowledgable, competent and caring. I would highly recommend Eye Consultants of Atlanta for any of your eye care needs. KT

I had difficulty seeing everyday objects until I had Cataract Surgery by Dr. Mark W. Mohney in August 2010. After both eyes with cataracts were professionally excised and new lenses installed a new world opened up for me. Everything was not only bright and clear, but filled with a miriad of various colors. Never in my life had I experieced such wonder. I owe this to Dr. Mohney who not only chose the proper lens, but provided insight as to what to do to properly care for my eyes in the future. How blessed I am to have been given this "second sight" by such a kind and professional surgeon. Mrs. Theresa M. Harrison

Dr.Stephen M. Hamilton, I can't say enough about him. I had congenial cataracts and a dropped pupil for all my life and I am 55 years old. I CAN SEE NOW, Thanks to Him. I never knew how bad off my eyesight actually was till after my operations. I couldn't believe how clear everything was and the details of things I could see! He has given me a whole new life! I will eternally be grateful! I will even be able to drive now!! Look out World!!! With warmest regards, Rita Diane Sowers

Dr Stephen Hamilton, of Eye Consultants of Atlanta, has been treating my eyes for the past 7-8 years. He has performed two eye surgerys on me, one major, and both were very successful. Dr Hamilton and his staff are very professional, yet caring for their patients. I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing eye surgery.

I recently went in for cataract surgery under the care of Dr. Stephen Hamilton and experienced wonderful results! My eyes were getting so bad, I won't drive at night because of the glare, and now I have better vision than when I was a teenager! The process was painless, quick, and the staff was very comforting. I would highly recommend Dr. Hamilton to my friends.

All doctor's offices should be modeled after Eye Consultants!!! I see Dr. Pastor who is excellent on his own, but the most amazing thing about Eye Consultants is how well the office is run. The downtown office is huge - a ton of doctors, somewhere between five and ten receptionists, etc. You'd think it would be a disaster but its exactly the opposite. The receptionists are clearly marked by doctor so its easy to find which one you need. I've never had more than five or ten minutes go by between arriving and the beginning my care. The staff are friendly and efficient and I never feel like I'm waiting needlessly. Things always keep moving and even though you're in a sea of patients you never feel like you've been left adrift. I wish every doctor's office I visit were run as well as Eye Consultants. Some are pretty good, but Eye Consultants is undoubtedly the best organized doctor's office I've ever been to. But oddly, in all this efficiency I never feel like I'm being rushed. Huge but personal, quick but not rushed. This place has it down.
