Amazing Hair Stylist!! , 9/28/2010

I have coarse hair and have had a lot of trouble finding a stylist that knows how to ""work with"" the hair, so that I can ""work with"" the hair myself. I hate when you spend hours at a salon and a... small fortune and then the next time you wash your hair you CANNOT ever get it to look the same! \r\rNOT WITH CAPRICE!! I hate giving this secret away --- but she is amazing and deserves the opportunity to meet you ladies who want the best! I will follow her anywhere!\r\rAs far as the other comments about pedicures or appointment problems ... this is a small, intimate boutique where by the time you leave you know everyone's name and they know yours. If you are not into that --- if you are into a ""stuffy"" environment where you cannot hear over the sound of the blow dryers or vibrating chairs --- then this is not for you! \r\rIt's a NEW family business -- and every business has start-up hiccups -- so cut them some slack. They are so great!!! If you happen to be there on the same day as me - well, you will know me, and you will also get at least a dozen Dunkin Donuts or munchkins --- my gift to them. YUMMY HAIR STYLES, PRODUCTS, SKINCARE, MASSAGES, EYEBROW WAXING EXTRAORDINAIRE!!!\r\r

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! DO NOT GO, 9/06/2010

OMG... This place is a complete waste of time. If it wasn't for the Nail Tech Tiffany, they should close down and start over in another industry. They have NO customer service skills... I waited 30... minutes for my appointment only for me to find out that someone didn't come in. THEN they put the pedicure bath that I have at home on the floor with PLASTIC in it, and cold water.. Then the computer chair is rolled out and I am told to sit. The nail tech begins a very pleasant conversation but finishes my pedicure sitting on the floor to polish my feet. I had to put my feet in her lap, which totally spaks her pants... I kept thinking I was getting punked. I bought a coupon off of a group coupon website, so I wasn't totally pissed that I only paid half. That mani pedi service isn't worth more than $15 tops, not the almost $50 that is regular price... \r\rI will NEVER go to this place again and anyone that asks I will beg that they don't either. I got my nails done (if you can call it that) and 2 days later, my polish is already chipping..... Tiffany, the nail tech, needs to get out of there, and go to a salon that will appreciate her for her spirit and work and actually make some money...... THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

They've gotta be kidding?!

This place is a joke. They have personnel problems and cancel appointments all the time. They don't call to let you know that the nail tech isn't in before you arrive (see LinaATL's review. It happened to me too.) When you call to check if things are running on time, they don't tell you that you're going to have to wait 30-45 minutes for your appointment after you arrive. Other aspects of FABB Studio experience are equally stressful. They don't have proper furniture for pedicures, so customers sit in regular office chairs while the nail tech sits on the floor. Hardly relaxing or professional. And the services take forever. The owner of the salon has very few management skills and does little to speed things along. She spends most of her time talking about the various problems she's faced in getting the salon up and running (the majority of which seem not to have been solved).All in all, the hours I spent in FABB studio -- either waiting for a non-present nail tech or sitting uncomfortably through a long service -- simply weren't pleasant and weren't worth the service provided. I'll NEVER go back as they have an excuse for everything and don't really care about the experience of their customers.It's too bad because the nail tech they have right now is extremely good and very nice. I'm sorry they make her sit on the floor.

Do not go!!!!

For3 days I tried to call and make an appointment. Something was wrong with their line so I kept trying. After finally reaching them I found out that there were issues with their phone lines and they did not know about it. How is that possible, I do not know!!!! I showed up for my appointment that I made a week before and was told that the nail tech was not coming in and I had to reschedule. I was very upset!!! I drove 20 min out of my way to try this place, gave them the benefit of a doubt after not being able to reach them, and I also spent money on parking which I was not able to get back.I think this salon just opened and for a new business they are not doing a great job of getting customers!!!!!!!!!

Great Service

Although I honestly visited this place for a consultation, the service was awesome for the short time I was there, which is so hard to find in a lot of salons now a days. There was also a lady who had just finished getting her hair done and it looked great, had lots of body, and the layers were on point.
