I used facility repair a few weeks ago to open some windows which had been stuck closed for many years and do some other small repairs in the house. They came by our home to provide an estimate within a reasonable amount of time. They came on the day and time as promised and worked to complete the project. I would recommend them and would use them again.

Used them to replace some rotting wood around the house. Good work overall. Pros: 1. Good work. 2. The qoutes for each specific repair were broken down so I could pick the repairs I wanted done based on my budget. 3. The project went over budget but they only charged for the amount quoted. Cons: 1. No one showed up to begin the work on the scheduled day and I was only notified when I called them since on eone showed up. However, they were very professional and we reschedueld for another day. My only recommendation is to notify clients earlier as I had taken a day off form work on the original scheduled day.

When the scheduled and pre-estimated work on repairing several windows was begun, there was a problem with the expected results. I called the office and the owner, Bruce, came out the very next day to review my needs. He was excellent in his knowledge how to repair the window problem and his communication skills. He went out of his way to explain the solution and show me what it would take to complete the repair. For this excellent service call there was no charge and it was on the weekend. Thank you, Bruce

Facilities repair did a day's worth of handyman work around the house for me, from small repairs to window-washing. I was very happy with their work. I felt that the estimating process was very fair -- I was given a detailed list of labor and materials, and then was able to select which jobs to get done on this visit. I'll definitely use them again!

I called for a estimate to replace my front door frame. Facility Repair Services sent a individual to my home (I wasn't there)and they emailed me a quote. I agreed and scheduled a day off of work to meet the worker. The man came to my home and and went to HD to buy the material. He then called and said he had to order the door frame.I would assume the first appointment was for measurements etc.. I called three times during the next 2 weeks, and nothing. I could accept we don't want to do the work, but nothing. To boot, the man removed my weather stripping and now my front door dosen't close properly. I called someone else and reccomned you do the same.

Mr. Martin is absoultely correct in that my compnay dropped the ball regarding the location of the specific door frame insert required to complete the work. We failed to communicate properly and to effectively manage this repair. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope that Mr. Martin allows us another opportunity to provide the level of services my company provides on a daily basis. Mr. Martin will be contacted personally to apologize for our failure to perform.
Work wise I would rate them 3-3.5 stars, policy wise i wld rate them below 2. Seemed professional at first. Email quote said- "This is a "Not to Exceed" quote for labor. We guarantee that your expense for the project will not exceed the amount indicated unless a change order is approved by you"-. But at time of payment, I was given a bill with a higher amount for extra materials and surcharge!!. They explnd-'the intial quote only applied to the Labor'. When I brought attention to 'Project Cost will not exceed..' part of their statement and approval for any extra cost.. which they did not seek nor a receipt was produced for extra costs, instead owner said 'I wont quibble- no one else had objected to this before'!??, as if that is the standard for fairness and honesty to terms agreed upon? He realized that he will have to amend the statement on his quotes from this point onwards. He said if i did not want to pay the higher price i cld pay the original price.. I paid the higher price per my principles.. I was not short of money but had lost his trust.. and hence would never do business with this company. This company is a typical example of companies in the services business these days. They all want to get a few extra $$'s thru dishonest means.

We greatly appreciate your comments and regret your disappointment. In keeping with our policy, you were only billed 11.5 hours to honor our labor quote as opposed to the actual time placed into the project of nearly 14.5 hours to complete the job. Upon completion, you approved the job for payment and we appreciated your continue interest. You were charged an additonal $16.00 for materials to effectively complete the job. Whereas we strive for accuracy regarding our material quotes there are times that we do miss the mark. We provide complete backup of all materials used within each project and encourage our customers to review all project records, if interested, prior to payment. We also have a fuel surcharge at this time due to the high cost of fuel and this surcharge was clearly noted on the estimate received. Again, we regret your concern and offer once again to refund to you any amount that you deem proper so that you indeed feel that you received an extreme value for the expense of the project paid to Facility Repair Services. We do hope that you will consider our services once again.

I recently bought a house that was a real fixer upper. I needed quite a bit of help and FRS was an excellent partner in helping me get it ready to move into. Everyone from Customer Service, Todd who came to give an estimate to Carl, Rex and the rest of the crew who completed the work to very high standards. Carl arrived early each day and did little things that I did not think of. I would recommend FRS without hesitation!

Efficient, friendly, and replaced our garbage disposal in 35 minutes and was gone. Got a follow up phone call from customer service after the fact to make sure we were happy. Rates were better than others I called. Would definitely use them again.

In today's world of customer no service, Facility Repair Services is a breath of fresh air. Bruce came to our home to investigate our "to-do" list which included doorbell repair, replacing screens, interior and exterior painting, roof and flashing repair, and replacing stairs on our deck. He prepared an itemized proposal, listing each job with its own price, so we could choose to do some jobs or all jobs. The price is a guaranteed "not to exceed" price. We approved the proposal and the work was schedule for two days later at 9 AM. This is not 9AM cable company time. Nate and Eric arrived at 8:59 AM on the appointed day, professionally dressed and obviously experienced and highly skilled. Everything was delivered as promised, when promised. When the deck project encountered some complications, Eric thoroughly explained the problem, and Bruce gave us an amended proposal, with the option to do the job as originally proposed, or to make the additional repairs at the addition cost. Everything was completed as expected. The quality of their work is superb; the price is fair, and never contains any surprises; beyond that, the level of attention to customer satisfaction is unbelievable.

Used this company for a variety of handyman services including electrical, bathroom tiling, roof and other misc. repairs. Their chief handyman on the projects, Justice, was very helpfull, knowledgeable and conscientious. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Wow, finally a repair service that understands the word "service". I was shocked with their quick service, friendly personel, and effective work.
