I went to Falany and Hulse for regular OB appts for several years and then began prenatal care with them during my pregnancy. After growing tired of their rude and inconsiderate staff, I decided to... try another doctor. At my first appt with the other doctor, they reviewed my records and found a major pregnancy complication that Falany and Hulse had completely overlooked. They said if they hadn't discovered that, my baby would almost certainly have not survived to term. Falany and Hulse could have cost me my child's life, but they were too busy rushing me through my appointments to care. If you value your baby's well-being and want decent care, go to another OB.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Doctors and staff rushed me through my appointments and brushed off my questions and concerns regarding my pregnancy, even after they misdiagnosed a problem I had. They also lied about the costs of tests that wound up costing me a fortune. Avoid at all costs.
Falany and Hulse was recommended to me and for the first little while they were great - especially Peggy (but she moved). I like everyone in the office - friendly staff, but not a fan of Dr. Lawrence. She didn't take the time to answer questions, I was uncomfortable with her. Early on they said I had the possibily of hypertension/preeclampsia due to high levels on protein and BP. Only they never followed up (even though I kept asking about it and was told it fine)until it was too late and had a emergency c-section at 30weeks. My baby was 2lbs. 7oz. and was in NICU for two months. I will not use them for my next pregnancy.
My experience was horrific and almost claimed my life. I begged these drs to keep looking, they were missing something!! I was sent home from their office after an ultrasound tech( who was really kind, professional and knowledgeable) found the ovary in question was dying and had no blood supply. Dr. Hulse was only concerned with my lack of insurance. After being accused of seeking medicine and " no reason for me to hurt" and an apology to my husband after my surgery for the "worst case of misread tests he had ever seen" my nightmare began! I developed MRSA. if it had not been for the wonderful infectious disease doctor I had I would have died. I NEVER blamed my surgeon for the infection but he flipped and continued to discharge me saying I did not have an infection!! Then upon MULTIPLE trips to the er begging them to keep looking that something wasn't right he ordered the ER doctor to not treat my pain or nausea ( my wound was open with stitches hanging out) the surgeon offered sleeping pills but no anti nausea meds or pain meds. It was worse than ANY horror movie!! I was treated HORRIBLY!! After the horrific ordeal and feeling i was losing my mind, I have been diagnosed with advanced cancer. PLEASE stand up for yourself if you know something is wrong I was humiliated and cowered down to these doctors, and the hospital they are affiliated with, and it may cost me dearly!!
I started out by going to Dr. Lawrence who, and had to change over to Dr. Hulse. In total I've been going to this practice for about two and a half years. I'm in the middle of a benefits change over so the jury is still out on the office and how they handle me, but I'll be writing a full review very soon.
Peggy Tuttle is a PA in this office. I have been seeing her for years and couldn't begin to say enough good things about her. There is no one I could imagine trusting more. Every time a girl friend is complaining about going in for an annual check-up at the office of whoever they are seeing... I give them Peggys number. Everyone in the office is fantastic!
They have a new Hickory Flat office. My experience there was great. The entire staff was very nice. I was given plenty of time at my visit and had all of my questions answered. I normally go to the Bridgemill office, but this location is closer to my home. All the doctor's are great at both locations and give me their full attention at each visit. I have recommended this practice to all of my friends. I am so happy they have opened the new location!
This practice was highly recommended by a respected friend. The energy is warm and wonderful when I entered, the staff was professional and timely. The doctor told me that day that I needed surgery, pretty quickly, and let fly with lots of foreign terms. She assured me that I would go home with websits and information, and that I could have all the patient referrals I wanted. The surgery was scheduled by 4pm that day. And I left the office with no information...I didn't think of it until I got home. I called to find out the website, and was brushed aside and told "probably novasure." I called a Friday morning at 8:40 asking for the diagnosis and the type of surgery I am having, and other patient referrals, as suggested by the doctor and again was made to feel that I was being an annoyance. By Tuesday morning, I still had not received a call. When I called the office at this time, the secretary said there was no record of my request. She said she would have a nurse call me. Within 5 minutes, the surgery scheduler called me, and she could not pronounce "laparascopy." It was clear that I could not talk with her about the procedure. It is okay for a scheduler to not be a certified doctor, but why would a nurse not call me? I would be extremely nervous to have a procedure with this office...what if there were complications? Would I be as quickly brushed aside with my issues at that critical time?
I was a patient of Dr Hulse's for 6 years and it was the best OB/GYN care i had received. Both he and Dr. Falany take time with their patients and it shows that they have a genuine concern for each and every one of them. Dr. Hulse confirmed my suspicion of having PCOS and didn't just shrug it off. By doing so, he treated me with the right prescriptions and in turn i am much healthier and i am also expecting which is extremely hard for a person diagnosed with PCOS. They really do a great job!
I had to be transported via ambulance to a closer pregnancy due to profuse bleeding at term. Dr. Falany was on call and treated me with such respect and trust. I ended up staying and delivering at Northside Cherokee (Canton) with her rather than going to my original practice once I was stabilized.
No matter what the issue, Dr. Falany has always been there for me. I have recommended her to many friends and all have gotten over the top service. She and Dr Hulse make an impressive team and everyone in the office always has your best interest at heart.
