Had been recommended to the practice by three of my Senior water aerobics friends. Needed to have a tooth extracted. It could not be saved. I was very anxious. Dr. Rogers helped me relax. Indicated she could not do oral surgery until late afternoon. Sent me home, with my prescription and instructions to fill and take medication prior to the procedure. Everyone was professional. After the procedure, I had very little pain; followed Dr's instructions. And the procedure did not take the amount of time required. So the practice credited my account with $90. I would highly recommend Dr. Rogers and this practice. I appreciate there is a separate waiting room for Adult patients.

I went to this dentist office with my stepdaughter. W got there at 11:30am did not get seen until 3:30pm that afternoon. She was supposed to have an iv sedation preformed for her dental work. It was told that because she chewed gum that the sedation would not happen. Fine well and good. They said that because she would not be sedated that they would only work on the fillings that needed to be done. We agreed that it was fine. The called her back to the room and put her wrist in a Velcro vice, then proceeded to Velcro her legs together, Velcro her arms to her body and then Velcro her head into a vice (which she explained that they tightened up after they made me leave the room). They then proceed from she told me to Velcro her into another bodysuit. They did not work on her fillings. They extracted a tooth! While in this process they gauged her mouth so wide she said that her jaw popped. After they took the tool out of her mouth she asked for me. They lied to her (a 9 year old) telling her that someone was coming to get me. She asked for me again. They said I was on my way. She asked again. They said that I was at the window but would not let her look and told her to do right and behave so I would think that they were doing a good job. No one came to get me. I had went to the bathroom and heard her screaming through 3 different walls. I told her dad and he tried to stop what was happening. While I walked outside I turned around and seen her walking out and her face was swolle
They do what they weren't supposed to do. Asked for her file and release papers and they would not give anything.

This morning I had an appointment for my 2 year old daughter. When I called to make my appointment yesterday the intial call went well. Someone called me back to get additional information from me. The additional information needed was my social security number. I explained that I would not give this information to the young lady and went further to explain that I would be willing to give my last 4 digits of my social and that I work for the insurance company that will be used so there should be no problem with just using my last 4 along with my group# and id number. The young lady stated that if I didn't give her my SSN then I would have to wait the morning of my appointment. When I came in this morning she again asked me for my SSN (which indicated that she never called the insurance company and deliberately made me wait this morning. I went ahead and gave her my social because I needed my daughter to be seen this morning. Our apt was at 8:00 and we were not called back until 8:45. That was unacceptable. If it would have been my own appointment I would have left. After the apt was over one of the ladies up front gave me a future appointment for my daughter and because of the experience I declined and will find another clinic to take my daughter to in the future.

My son really enjoyed his first dental experience here. The staff was very friendly and great with children. It was much easier than I was expecting it to be for a 3 year old. Good job.

My 4yr was not seen on 9/17 for sedation. Means no food or water since Midnitght. Waited around but after 2.5 hrs asked repeated for another appointment. Staff was nice but neglectful and wanted 25$ to reschedule an appointment they called me to change. NOT RETURNING. OVER BOOKED OVER WORKED. UNHAPPY GUEST. Office Manager Jackie tried to pacify me like a child and was told that we would not be returning.

I always have a wonderful experience at this dental practice. They get you in & out in a timely manner. The staff is polite. Dr. Rogers does excellent work and will stand for nothing less than perfection. I always receive excellent anesthesia before any procedure. Patience is a outstanding hygienist. I do take my dental care seriously and she told me things about flossing that I was never told at any other dental office. The staff is cheerful, polite and efficient. I really appreciate the prescreening of my dental insurance so I will know exactly what my obligation is prior to any procedure. They always offer me the option to hold or proceed with a treatment depending upon my time, available and my ability to cover my portion of the bill. I am a surgeon and I greatly appreciate the excellent dental care and professional way the patients are treated. They get me in & get me out so I can take care of my patients. Policies are clearly written and you the patient or parent make the final decision on treatment plan. Great practice & family of skilled dentist. It is great to know that you or you child is being treated by national renowned Pediodontis who has appeared on national news show, is past president of the Georgia State Dental Assoc. and is a down right nice lady. We are lucky to have Dr. Lott in our community to treat our children and family. She could easily have her thriving practice any place in the city and do well.

Family and children's Dentistry is one of the best dentist offices I have ever been to, I was very pleased with the work and courteous staff from the front office to the back office. And I just want to say thank you Dr. Lott and staff with a "LOTT" of love.

To the staff of Family and Children's Dentistry, my son and I appreciate your services. The staff takes the time to listen to patient concerns, and give explanations concerning your oral health. I also enjoy the fact that the whole family can come. It is a great plus that the staff will work to get appointments for my son and I, close together. This saving time during an already busy day.

PLEASE for the sake of your CHILD get a SECOND OPINION regarding your child's treatment plan! I had a very unpleasant and damaging experience with Dr. Lott. I am very vocal about this issue because I do not want another parent to endure what we have. My child has experience great trauma due to Dr. Lott's unnecessary procedure of placing six crowns in a 4 year old mouth, when in fact two other dentists only recommended fillings. 2 of the crowns came out. It is very unfortunate that I left Family and Children's Dentistry feeling "hustled". I don't like to use that term, however this was my exact experience. Dr. Lott started the sedation process, took additional x-rays and I then her staff advised me he needed additional work. I had to make a rush decision to allow her (I would say trust her) to complete this procedure because my child had already started the sedation process. The office was more concerned with how I was going to pay for the procedure as oppose to educating me. Dr. Lott does not do an effective job communicating with clients. I have NEVER experienced such poor service in my life for myself or my child from a doctor! There was a lack of professionalism, a lack of care for your individual situation and the service was far from dentistry "with a lot of love". Please do your research before you receive service from her. I would not recommend her as a dentist you can trust. Another parent had the same issue. She's robbing the community and it's sad!
