I'm thinking our last four cars have been Hondas because of this shop. We travel 45 miles (it's closer to hubby's office) to have our cars serviced here. They only do Hondas and the knowledge and expertise shows. On our old van, I always questioned if I needed brakes replaced and they always said they were fine. I had 75000 miles on the van which was 30000 more than my previous replacement on an Acura done at a dealer. He insisted I didn't need them. Air conditioner went out on an Accord and they recommended a cheaper fix that would maybe need repair again in 2-3 years rather than a complete fix and overhaul that would've cost 7 times more. It's been two years and the air conditioner is still working great. I'm not sure if putting an exemplary review out will be good for us...we may have to wait longer for service but man they are good! Honest and trustworthy and experienced.

For the past 10 years our various Honda and Acura were exclusively serviced here and my kids and several friends have their cars serviced at Far East Motor Works. Gordon's Honda/Acura service is one of the best in town and you can trust that only required work is done that you authorized. You can always ask Rita technical questions and get competent answers when you bring or pick-up your car. Excellent service cannot be lowballed, you pay a fair price but much less than at a dealership.

My husband and I have been taking our cars here for years (current cars - 2003 Honda Accord and 2009 Acura MDX). These guys never have let us down...we initially started out getting service at dealers like Curry Honda and ended up getting burned a few times so I decided to trust the recommendation of a client of mine to visit these guys. My initial trust was earned when I learned that they used only genuine Honda Parts. This is important. When we lived in Chicago, I got new brakes on my old Acura TL and they squeaked...I knew that I would never make that mistake again and would only go to a place that used genuine Honda Parts. Far East is easy to work with, honest, and I don't even question what they tell me when they call to provide the cost estimate after looking at the car -- they have proven themselves over the past 10 years and have even inspected used vehicles that I was considering buying. I want to get a BMW now and am honestly thinking about looking at Acuras so I can keep taking it to these guys....that says a lot.

Best customer service. Prices were about half of what the acura dealer was asking for, for my 110k service. While waiting for my car, I watched the interaction between the workers in the front room and customers and I was blown away: Personal, courteous, and just truly genuine. They have a personal touch with their customers. I was quoted a wrong price on the phone (slightly lower) and they still honored the lower price. I will definitely be back!

I have been using Far East Motorworks for several years and have always found them to be honest, reliable and reasonably priced. They may not offer free coffee and a large waiting room, like a Honda dealership, but Far East will tell you the truth and charge a fair price.

Too many good stories...so bullet list: * got the cheapest 100,000 mile maintence in town. * asked for new brakes, they said why? You have 40% left. Awesome. * said something needed to be done, proved it to me, then I called around and they were half of everyone else. Seriously, I will always buy a Honda because these guys only work on Honda's. Well, as long as I live in Atlanta anyway!

Just dropped our Honda off at Far East Motors. Once again, they have diagnosed the problems quickly and will have it ready this afternoon. I had booked a rental car for 3 days just assuming that even Far East couldn't take care of all this car's issues THAT fast! Saved me time and money AGAIN!

Gordon is the best! As evidenced by the reviews here, he is also very popular. Despite this, he always finds a way to fit you in and complete your repair in a timely, professional, and affordable manner. Above all, Far East Motorworks is an honest establishment, always providing valuable advice rather than suggesting unnecessary work. Don't underestimate the value of a mechanic you can truly trust!

The wife and I have been taking our cars to Far East for years. Gordon and the gang at Far East recently worked on my wife's 2004 Honda Civic that was having electrical issues. The problem was difficult to pinpoint due to the issue being intermittent. They kept us updated on the progress of the repair daily. We got the car back fully functional and at a very fair price considering they had to pull the dashboard apart several times.

Brought my car in today with a horrible noise at certain RPMs in front wheel. I thought it was a CV joint or bearing issue (although it wasn't anything I heard before) and was expecting a $600 bill. They diagnosed the problem, fixed it and only charged me 30 minutes diagnosis time (turns out it was just something bent funny rubbing my wheel, hah). I highly recommend them and will be back when I need a good honest mechanic. Thanks!

My car would just randomly shut up every once in a while. Gordon couldn't get it to happen while it was in the shop, so he took his best guess and replaced the ignition switch for less that $100. Unfortunately, this didn't fix the problem, but when I took it back in, he replaced the fuel injector for NO CHARGE since he didn't fix it the first time. I totally did not expect that. I was already a loyal customer, but this just really firmed it up for me. Gordon is the best!

I took my car to Far East a few months ago to check out a sticking shifter. Well the day before I was to take it in, it started working again. I dropped my car off anyway (they have an after hours key drop box for those of us who work early) and asked them to take a look. Most places would tell you that it needs to be replaced just to drive the bill up but not Far East. I also asked for an estimate on 120K maintenance. They told me that maintenance would only cost me about $300 which is less than half of what I've been quoted before. They even took the time to explain what some of the notes he had made meant. Great mechanic, honest service. 100% positive reviews can't be wrong.

This is the best place to take your Honda in Atlanta. They are honest and do great work at a great price. They recently helped us save a ton of money by having us fix our CV boots while they were replacing our Civic clutch (otherwise we'd have to pay to repeat the labor later). What nice people too... they're great at explaining what is wrong.

This is a great place to take your Honda for almost any type of repair. I have had my Civic there multiple times. The prices are a little higher than some other places, but the work is quality and they are always done on time. Also, they are honest about what needs to be done. They have told me a couple of times that I don't need certain repairs, unlike other shops which always encourage you to get unnecessary repairs. Gordon is very nice and has a much deserved reputation for quality repairs.

Far East is , by far, the best Honda and Acura service facility in Atlanta. I've been going there for years - wouldn't change for anything. They do great work on my Acura TL. Don't think twice - take your Honda or Acura to Far East!
