They're Great, 4/20/2012

I have always had great experiences there. They treat you like family and genuinely love your pet! Everybody is so nice and I trust the doctors completely. My dog had torn a ligament in his knee,... and they did surgery to fix it. He is doing great. I was really impressed at the professionalism and compassion they showed during the entire ordeal. One of the nurses even made a special trip to meet me after work so I could visit him. I won't go anywhere else.

Always there for me and my pets, 5/20/2010

I moved to Atlanta over 8 years ago, and had to change a few vets due to their complete lack of care for your animals, greed, constant sales pitches, etc. Then I found the Fayette Veterinary Medical... Center (when they were two separate practices still) about 5 years ago, and have been a VERY happy customer ever since! Now, I'm very particular about my dogs (I have a few), and I'm sure, not the easiest customer they have, but everyone, every single person, from the reception personal, to tech-staff, to every doctor (I especially love Dr. Beckler and Dr. Welker), to the owner, are always extremely nice, welcoming, accommodating to my sometimes unusual requests, and I can see they truly do care about the animals. The doctors are really knowledgeable and experienced, and actually listen to what I have to say about my pet's condition, instead of running 100 unnecessary tests. They have never tried to sell me anything, which was a major annoyance with the other vets. In addition to this, the new facility is state of the art, well equipped and super clean. LOVE this practice and highly recommend it to everyone!

True feelings!

I have reveiwed the last two comments and greatly, with pride, DISagree with their statements. Anywhere you go there are days that you can misjudge a person. I have been going to them for years, and before that we went to both vets, lafayette and huntington, b/c I liked both practices.. and when they merged together we really got the best of both worlds and I know people who would back me up. all my friends and family go there and we are all very happy and love Dr.Younker and all the vets and girls there! The last two reviews should go back and have an open mind and give them another try. this vet CARES for your pet(s)!! and about the ashes, I just don't believe they just THREW them away..

Response to "True Feelings"

Why you think I should try this veterinary service again after what they did to my dog is unbelievable. The saddness this service caused to our family has been inconsolable and inexcusable. If you want to trust your pet to this service that is your business, but to tell my family that what this veterinary hospital did to our family pet is okay and we should reconsider our feelings is presumtuous. Are you sure you don't work for Dr. Yonkers?

Pompous Owner

I had been going to Dr. Younkers'clinics for quite some time. Last time I came in 15 minutes late for an appointment and saw the real Dr. Younker. He was rude, pompous, degrating. Not recommended.

Bad Experience

Went in with our dog to get him looked at. The receptionist kept us waiting for five minutes with out even acknowledging our presence. Than the worst word that came out of her mouth was, do you have $49. Enough Said. Go some place where they care more about their guest than just getting their money.
