FedEx Kinko's

I can't really blame the employees here - it's got to be the management. Taking in 6 boxes to ship they have 2 coworkers stationed at the door for some reason, like Walmart I guess, but when I asked for their help carrying in my packages they couldn't do that. Then waited at the counter for the 1 person working there to clear the 6 people in front of me. All the time, the 2 at the door are just standing there. There's more, but suffice it to say once you get past this Kinko's mentality - it's worth it. I mean what's the alternative - the Post Office?

I walked in to FedEx Kinko's with a 30 page document to fax. I will never get that hour of my life back.

First, there was a paper jam. Enter unenthusiastic employee. Said employee takes the document back to use one of their other fax machines.

Somehow, it took him 1 hour.

Then, it cost me $45.

I could have hired someone to take the document across the country on a camel more efficiently.

The only positive thing I can say is that the fax was actually sent to the correct number.

I hate you FedEx, I hate you.

On a Wednesday, I brought in 2 pdf files on a flashdrive, one in color, one grayscale. Needed 105 copies of a 6 page B&W booklet with color cover by Friday. Dave greeted me at the door, asked me what I needed, escorted me to the print center, & went to work immediately on my project. All it required was finding out what paper stock I wanted, & which files on the flash drive to print. I had a proof in my hands immediately that looked great. He guaranteed delivery by the next evening. But three hours later, I had the completed project in hand, great quality, just what I asked for, at a competitive price. Courteous, competent, respectful customer service, no hassles, no drama, no complications, no excuses. FedEx Kinko's was able to very easily print for me what Printmaster of Decatur said was impossible to do -- an extremely simple job that should have been very easy for Printmaster, but their customer service, attitude, and competency were shockingly low compared with FedEx Kinko's. After the extremely indefensible, unprofessional non-service and time-wasting runaround I received at Printmaster of Decatur, FedEx Kinko's was a comparative breath of sanity and fresh air. Don't waste your time at Printmaster getting accused of providing inadequate files when they simply don't know how to use software & a printer. Take those exact same files to Kinko's and they will get the job done well, fast, courteously, and professionally, by people who know how to do their job.

Read many of the reviews below and one thing stands out about this copy/print shop: the staff are terrible. It's as simple as that - I rarely encounter an intelligent, helpful person at this place.

I've been to this FEDEX Office / Kinkos more times than I care to and the problems are recurring: (1) surly and uncaring staff; (2) no paper and/or print/copy jams; (3) no one around to help out; and (4) high prices.

I used to avoid owning printers, but this place has made me reconsider - I'm going to buy a personal printer/scanner soon.

I have never been treated so poorly or received such horrible service. The staff was incredibly rude and inattentive, and when my business partner returned the next day and the job was incorrect (despite having made an extra trip back there the day before to approve the proof), the manager yelled at her and insulted her. To top it off, Office Depot did the job correctly the same day for a third less cost.
