Felix's Fish Camp At Pier 4

I love this place. The food is fantastic. From the crab soup to the po boys. Try the grilled grouper. Excellent.

Whenever I fly into an airport, I ask the locals, "if you were only going to be in town for one day in your entire life, where would you eat?" In the case of Mobile Alabama, the voting was unanimous. The barbershop in the historic city center, the rental-car manger, the hotel manager and everyone else that I asked agreed--Felix's Fish Camp. (This has never happened to me anywhere else.)Try the Crab Soup and Crawfish Smothered Pork Chops. Zig-zagging Ramps lead up to the entrance of this bay-side restaurant. While passing the people on their way out, I asked, "What's best". The answer from most was the Crab Soup and Crawfish Smothered Pork Chops. So, I ordered them. They are both excellent.The service here is also great. They do a synchronized delivery of your orders. One server per table guest presents all of the table guest orders at the same time. It's really quite nice.The view overlooking the bay adds to the whole experience.I will always try to dine at Felix's Fish Camp whenever I am in Mobile.

been twice: tab was too high for average food, dingy atmosphere, and a noise level that exceeds a comfortable dining experience. don't recommend to visitors, won't go if invited.

From the outside you wonder if it looks as bad on the inside, but with the parking lot crowded, you know it must be good. You walk in and are surprised to find white tableclothes. The service is exceptional. Their food is excellent. Of course, you'll just have to see for yourself. Bon Appetite!

The seafood at Felix's is really delicious and well-prepared, and the service is excellent. The only drawback is the price.
