What does customer service mean to Ferguson's? My answer would be zero-nothing-not important. We have been excellent customers of Ferguson's Meat Market for 5+ years. Even when we moved out of state we purchased 100% of our meat at Ferguson's. But, our loyalty to Ferguson's means nothing to them. Just so everyone understands...Ferguson's offers two coupons that should invite new customers to visit and be a THANK YOU to current customers. What you do not know is "they" do not like to honor those coupons. My family purchased almost $400 of meat this week (as we often do)and when we asked where we could find the coupon we received no assistance. When we finally located a coupon and approached Johnny to honor it he called me "pushy". He also said it was not his job to know where to locate the coupon. Not once did he send the message that he appreciated/valued our business. This interaction truly hurt my feelings- "small enough to know you" means nothing. When many businesses in the great USA are struggling to survive Ferguson's is willing to insult a customer and damage the reputation of the business. Johnny treats his staff with the same amount of disrespect he gives the customers--he values no one. Enough said. I did not take the $5 "offered" by the coupon. My friends and family will take our business to Wilkes after many years of loyalty to Ferguson's. I wish the outcome would have been different.

I absolutely love going to Ferguson's. They have the best food and a great variety of specialty items. I could spend hours browsing through the store. The employees are friendly, the plate lunches are reasonable and tasty, and the deserts are unbelievable. You have to try their cobbler........you won't be disappointed.

There is a butcher about a mile from our house but we go back to Fergusons because their meat is just better. It has more flavor than any meat market we've been to. They are knowledgeable, have been around forever and we will continue to use them as our primary butcher. For superior to anything you can find in a grocery store.
