First Choice Floor Covering

10 years ago I had my whole condo carpeted by First Choice. unfortunately some areas buckled 2 years later. when I called to complain they asked if I might remember the name of the installer. apparently this installer did not do as good work as they thought. \rFirst Choice immediately sent workmen out to fix the buckling AT NO CHARGE, 2 YEARS LATER! \rI was extremely surprised and pleased.\r\rwhen I needed new flooring in my kitchen I immediately visited First Choice. The interior decorator in the store was very helpful. Then she and one of the owners came out to take measurements. My flooring was installed one week later by very professional men who worked thoroughly and quickly. \rI am simply thrilled with my new floor!\rA few weeks later I received a thank you card from First Choice hoping I was pleased.\rI highly recommend this store! Their customer service is UNSURPASSED by anyone!!!

I had read the reviews listed below and was concerned as the gentalman who came out to do an estimate was an hour late; but I do understand meetings run long. We searched for months after getting the estimate from First Choice and couldn't find the quality of carpet or padding that compaired with what they were offering. I expressed my concerns to the owner about the reviews, he was appreciative and said that with as much buisness as they do someone is bound to be unhappy. We decided to go with First Choice and are increadibly pleased. We recarpeted our entire house and they not only found a great quality carpet that fit our budget but the padding that was included was thicker than our old carpet and padding together. The installers were prompt and very professional. The installers were polite and worked quickly. The carpet has been in for a month and we have no complaints. Would use them again for any remodeling needs.

Can't say enough good about First Choice.\rThey arrived on the \ragreed upon date, at the\ragreed upon time, completed agreed upon projects in the \ragreed upon time frame at the \ragreed upon price.\r WITH AMAZING RESULTS.\rFirst Choice Flooring artfully updated my bathroom, carpeted my whole house, replaced the kitchen floor and painted the entire interior of my home.\r \rThe bathroom looks like something from a magazine. Thanks, in large part, to the creativity and expertise of their tile installer/bathroom remodeler.\r\r The carpet installers did an especially thorough job including resolving all the floor squeeks. They cheerfully tolerated my interference and even helped me better understand the product.\r\rThe kitchen flooring was beautifully installed and the installer did an amazing job of cleaning the resulting sawdust in the garage.\r\rThe painter also did a wonderful job. His work was beautiful and he made a point of coordinating his work with the other workers to avoid any delays or inefficiency. \r\rThroughout the project, First Choice Flooring regularly monitored and visited the work site. \r\rPLUS: I am an older woman. I was astonished at the extra attention I received from these men in terms of various unrelated home maintenance needs that they performed for me that they knew I couldn't do by myself..\r\rI should also mention that this project was almost an impulse purchase. I visited the store to look at carpeting and saw the pictures of their remodeling projects and the many favorable comments and I was sold.\rMy daughter has repeatedly expressed her delight with the project and is stunned that I didn't even obtain any other estimates for the project.

Do yourself a big favor & stay away from these dishonest, coniving thieves. The installation of my flooring and cabinetry were very good, thanks only to the installers. The salesman, Steve, and the owner, Karl are incabable of telling the truth. They told my wife and I that the materials did not come in the day the installation was scheduled! Of course, we had already moved all of our furniture and appliances to accommodate the flooring. They claimed it would be a one week delay. Two weeks later we were told that the materials came in but they were damaged, therefore it would be another week. I asked for a refund, but foolishly fell for a sob story that things have been ""really difficult"" and it would take them 30 days to refund my money!! ""Don't worry,"" they said, ""we'll make it up to you."" 5 weeks after our original installation date the installers showed up, unannounced! The installers were great, but told us that everything that we were told was a lie. The flooring and cabinetry were at the store the whole time, but Steve and Karl were having financial troubles and could not afford to pay anyone to put it in. We are currently having ""warranty"" problems. We've called and stopped into the shop no less than 5 times, and have got nothing but the run-around. Run away from these jokers as fast as you can!!!!

As carpet installation date approached we had not heard from them so I called. The run around started - ""I called and spoke to"" ""can you hold a moment"" ""we have you down for the following week - our error"" ""we will pick it up Friday and install Saturday"" ""sorry carpet did not come in"". Needless to say we picked up our deposit and ran as fast as we could. I would not recommend this company to anyone!
