When one of our cats was killed by a coyote 25 yards from our backyard we began our search for a fence that would keep our other cat safe. After researching all our options on the internet we chose a black aluminum fence six feet tall and with a three inch gap between the bars rather than the standard 3.75”. We began to schedule fence companies for estimates and quickly found out we were trying to build what amounted to a coyote proof cat fence. Consequently two contractors bowed out without an estimate as they “didn’t want to bother” building us that type of fence. After receiving one estimate for an aluminum fence we realized that due to the number of trees and potential limbs falling we would need a steel fence. To make matters worse we had a hilly terrain and rocky soil. Fortunately we found First Fence. First Fence gave us an estimate for a steel fence that was only slightly higher than our aluminum fence quote. Additionally, they came up with a rather ingenious way to make our fence cat proof. The install team did a fabulous job of not only installing the fence but also ensuring that our cat could not get out either under or through by attaching a fine mesh wire two and half feet above the ground. We have now had the fence three weeks and no animals have gotten in and our cat has not got out. To say we are pleased with First Fence is an understatement. FF not only met all of our requirements but far exceeded them on a fence others considered too complicated.

First Fence of Georgia is also a material supplier. My company has made purchases from this company and has been left with failed materials and my customers are having to wait as they wiggle and try to squirm out of responsibility. I left a review with 5 star home services and the owner of the referral service contacted me with questions straight from the president of First Fence, they buy influence, Ryan from 5 star review didn't even read my claim. While on a phone call he admitted to taking instruction from the FF owner, then flipped out when he found that it was a recorded call. Typical from this company, a haven for illegal immigrants. There's no telling who they will send out on an install. For 20 years and three companies the president of FF has been wrecking the incomes of everyone who has tried to learn and use the trade legally.

David Barrows came to my home after I called to request repairs to an existing fence. He was so helpful to me. He pointed out what needed to be done to make the repairs. He was very helpful to me. I will definitely call this company if and when I need a new fence, and I highly recommend them.

I wish I could give a glowing review but the truth is, if I could give first fence half a star, I would. It's unfortunate but my experience with first fence has been less than pleasant. This company does not make you a priority, they push back timelines, communication is almost non-existent, and their work is less than satisfactory. Heed my warning, do not use this company for any of your fence needs. They will only disappoint you!

A truly exceptional experience from first call to job completion. and the final result was beautiful. The sales rep showed up on time for the first appointment provided a brochure with photo's of the types of fence we were considering. Provided a detailed quote by e-mail the same day. The 2nd vendor came took measurements promised a quote by the end of business the next day that wasn't received until the 3rd day. The 3rd choice vendor never returned the first call. We chose First Fence. Scheduling was delayed because of winter weather. The crew showed up early on the scheduled date and worked through the day in spite of the cold, windy rainy weather. The job was completed by the end of business on the 2nd day as promised. The fence is beautiful, solid, and the detail of the finishing is excellent. We couldn't be more pleased. Our pets finally have a safe secure yard that they can play in.

What a great experience. The crew was professional, friendly and diligent. They delivered everything promised by the estimator, completed the job as scheduled and left the yard cleaner than they found it! It’s nice to find good old fashion quality and value in today’s marketplace. First Fence of Georgia delivered both.

Kudzu reviews helped me choose them. My fence looks great. They understand great customer service. They updated me with there install time. Called me the day before and follow up communication afterwards. I could not have had a much better experience.

I had a 6 foot privacy fence installed. The salesman was pleasant and the install crew was great. It was a little worrisome between deposit being cashed and > 2 weeks before the next contact from them about installing my fence -- the quiet makes you worried. Also -- fence gates do not come with inside pulls -- only outside pulls so you get splinters pulling gate shut by the "Z" board. I installed my own pulls. It is frustrating that they upcharge for credit card use but overall the price was very reasonable. I would use them again.

Installed a wooden fence around my backyard. Despite a problem with the manufacturer of the fence, the company is working with us to get resolution. Really appreciate the proactive attitude of the company's president.

We had a hiccup early on in that the original estimator lost contact. It turns out he left the company, so I don't hold that against them. In fact, I would say that they made it up to us by letting us split our job in half. We've had the two short pieces done in the front and will have a longer piece done in the back in a month or so, I think. The installers were very nice, very professional, and clearly very able. The finished work looks excellent.
