Please be very cautious when using this Rheumatolotgist. He is very arrogant and uncaring. I am still in disbelief of the appointment I had with him as I am typing this. During my appointment he did most of the talking. At one point I asked him if he would like to see my labwork from other doctors that I had been to and he told me no. At another point I had mentioned to him my concern that my condition may be Lupus related due to the fact that it runs in our family. He looked at me and told me not to get too ahead of myself. I left the office with an increase in my prednisone and a call me in two weeks. Be very weary of this doctor!

I had a very good experience with Dr. Fishman and his nurse Stella. Stella was wonderful. He did not rush me. He took time to answer my questions and was very patient. I like that fact that he is the one who calls you back when you have questions or concerns. I highly recommend him.

After being seen by several doctors over many years & undergoing numerous tests, I came to Atlanta and found Dr. Fishman. He ran bloodwork and upon examining me, prescribed drugs that finally worked! I can now lead a normal life without pain. I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for him. Thanks Dr. Fishman!

Doesn't communicate well with patients, doesn't review Xrays with you, doesn't explain the difference in symptoms and issues (actually told me as a reply "that's why you pay me the big bucks!"), doesn't seem to want to spend any time in the room at all much less answering questions, can't admit when something is out of his realm of knowledge and give advice on who could help, doesn't follow up with you or tell you when you need to return for labs, gives very little advice for care or treatment and in fact doesn't seem to care, has belittled woman for complaining and seems to be on quite the ego trip instead of healing trip. i am leaving this office and finding another rheumatologist. my internist is in the same group practice and agreed that Fishman should have sent me to another specialist for my additional health issues instead of continuing to have me come in for cortizone shots and prescribing pain meds

Dr. Fishman is a wonderful doctor who cares for his patients. When my primary care physician couldn't figure out my health issue, Dr. Fishman re-ran bloodwork and ran additional tests. My illness was medical, not psychological. Since I started the medications he prescribed, I have improved immensely. Another great thing about Dr. Fishman is that he calls you back himself. You just can't find that in most doctor's offices these days

Rheumatoid arthritis hit me 6 years ago like a ton of bricks, practically overnight. My primary physician immediately sent me to Dr. Fishman and he proceeded to run tests and work his cure. There is no one-size-fits-all and he patiently, methodically restored my health. I have minimal problems now and minimal meds for the condition. He takes personal interest in hi patients.

I agree with the first reviewer that he is too full of himself. I have been seeing rheumatologists for over ten years and he has the gall to tell me I don't have RA and don't need to take all those medications. Then he makes me pay upfront for his "services". Don't waste your time on him. By the way, my next doctor put me on Enbrel and it works marvelously.

The man is way too full of himself. He medicated me and I ended up in the ER and to this day I've never received a phone call. I tried to reach him several times but nothing. I was treated like I was an idiot and I was the cause of my problems. Since then I have found another rheumatologist who is actually a human being. I would not recommend him to anyone. He is so established he believes you should consider it an honor to be seen by him.
