In less than 2 hours (and 2 smoke breaks, his not mine), my 2 replacement faucets were installed and it only cost me more than $200! per hour...will be getting a new plumbing company (yes, the plumber was polite and knowledgeable in his field but is this fair pricing?!) the company would not give me an estimate prior to the appointment but the plumber seemed to have fixed prices in advance ($228 per faucet, with a discount on the second install) Of course I could have cancelled the installation and paid the $65 service call...this is why homeowners put off improvements: they are frustrated with getting gouged.

The salesman gave me an estimate based on a job the technicians later said could not be done. They promised to leave my home paint ready and re-install all of the fixtures. They did not finish the job. I paid them in good faith and have not seen them again. I sent the owner photos of areas left unfinished and still no response. Insist on a building permit before they start the job and have the city inspector approve the work before they cover it.
