$25 for Gluten Free Mush
First of all, I have to agree with the customer service issues people have had. Hit or miss ""driver"" availability. Long waits. Ordering, only to be called back 10 minutes later saying they can't provide the order. On the phone costumer service is game of roulette as well. Then there are the GF issues.Inconsistency is the name of the game for GF. The final straw, paying $25 12"" piece of almost completely raw dough with burnt edges. And then when I called in to get help, they aren't answering their phones even though it isn't closing time yet. I ended up calling the Portland store to see if they had any advice on trying to cook it at home. PORTLAND. Even though I wasn't their costumer, and they don't share anything but a name, they do GF as well, and they were SUPER nice and helpful. While I attempted to cook my pizza at home off of the Portland stores advice. I continued to call the store for another 30 minutes. And when they finally answered, they said, ""Oh, you've been calling? I can't imagine why we didn't get the call."" Guilt had kicked in, because he later said:""Yeah, I saw you calling, and since you kept calling I figured I better answer"". read: I was actually ignored the call on purpose. His response to the pizza issue: ""The edges were burned because I was trying to cook the middle"" He said there was nothing he could do about it. They were closed. When I pointed out this whole thing started when they weren't closed, they just refused to answer the phone, he offered me a free pizza next time. Uhm, no. I want my money back if it is too late to remake it. (They attempts to cook it at home failed). But he says he can't, because they already closed down the registers. I know, I know. Us Gluten Free people should NOT be so rude to complain. Typically I don't. I would rather work with a place so everyone can benefit. But I can't work with them if they are annoyed at my even asking questions.I understand a place needing to learn more about GF. This isn...

Unreliable delivery
Called to order a pizza on game day (Sunday afternoon). ""No delivery driver until 5pm"". What???\r\rI'll update the review when I can actully EAT the pizza.\r\rUpdate: Tried again (game day Sunday) and they did not have a delivery driver, but said they ""would call one in"" and thus, would take an hour to deliver. (Every other pizza place in town has drivers). Pizza came in 1:05. When I called in, the person taking my call put the phone down and forgot about me, but apologized when I called back.\r\rAs for the pizza itself, it was good, but not awesome. I usually buy from round table. \r\rThe crust is doughey and had no crisp at all, which is what I expect from a high end pizza. Thus the crust will get soggy quickly. Ingredient quality is high, flavor is good, good amount of toppings.\r\rBottom line: Better than average pizza but with a hassle if you want delivery. I would say it's a toss up with Round Table - Round table has a better crust, Flying Pie has superior ingredients. Round Table is no hassle delivery, FP is a headache to get a pizza to your door.

Toppings upon toppings with more toppings
Flying Pie offers pizza that is full of toppings and goodness. I would rate the quality of the dough but I never pay attention to it. Your pizza will take a long time to cook. This doesn't matter if you like toppings. I recommend ordering your pizza and sitting down with a beer or three while it bakes. The relatively poor value, long wait times, and sub par service will tick you off until you see your pizza.

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!!
Date night with my husband is very special to me. My walking partners, have been talking about the Flying Pie since forever. It was my turn to pick. The location is easy to find. I ""mapquested"". The freeway signs on I-90, helped too. The restaurant was busy. We ordered a couple of micro brews and sat down to review the bill of fare. The menu is mouth watering. Hand tossed pizza. The best part is that you can watch your pizzas being made and baked, which we did. Our Stromboli pizza order, we were told would take 25 minutes. So, we had another round. Had a salad, from the salad bar. MMMM, breadsticks. We are accustomed to ordering the largest size pizza. The order taker talked us into ordering less, (14""). My husband worried that we wouldn't have enough. Half a pizza later as we're both rubbing our full bellies, my darling husband is already salivating at the idea that he's having pizza for lunch the next day.\rI love this place. Prices are affordable, when you consider that you get 2 meals. Beer is cheap. Quaint interior. Friendly staff. Delivery too, but not to Everett, where we live. We'll be back!!!!!
