Bad Doctor, 11/06/2013

Do not use Dr Kasik at this store. He rushes through eye exams and stacks patients, which results in long waits for hurry up eye exams. His equipment is antiquated, and he is impatient and... arrogant. He wrote a bad incorrect eye prescription for me, and when I went back for a recheck, he was rude, nasty, and arrogant and insisted his prescription was correct. I went to another doctor for a second opinion, and it was found that Dr Kasik did in fact write the wrong prescription for my eye glasses. I find this totally unacceptable, that a customer and patient must pay another doctor at another practice to find out that Kasik wrote a prescription that he arrogantly insisted is correct, when it is not. Avoid this store and definitely avoid Dr Kasik.

I have worn glasses since age 7. I can read the big "E" on the eye chart at 5', so my glasses are very impt to me. I bought new glasses at For Eyes, Roswell Rd., last Spring. this year I noticed... little marks, not scratches but reflecting oddly. One day a 1" square patch of coating came off! Went back to the store for service, and they said I would have to pay $75 for new lenses because my warranty had expired. I said obviously the lenses hadn't been made correctly, I hadn't ordered a coating, so why should I have to pay for new lenses? They insisted on $75 or nothing. I told them to wash the coating off (which I had not requested) and return my old glasses to me. This has taken 3 weeks, during which time I have used old glasses and been unable to read properly. The original service was OK, but their current stance is unreasonable and stinks. They keep acting like it's my fault when it's obvious the lenses were not cleaned properly before the coating was applied. I went here to save money; never again! LATER: The manager, Mr. Collins, called to say For Eyes was going to replace my lenses. Apparently he went to bat for me, so I have to thank him especially. For Eyes came through in the end.

Terrible Customer Service

This is the worst customer service - I was actually scolded by one person and yelled at by another. When I made my appt for my daughter I was never asked if this was for "glasses" or "contact lenses". The doctor who examined her dilated her eyes when I signed a document specifically stating NOT to. The doctor chose glasses for her & wrote the prescription for glasses and now I cannot get her contact lenses because I did not request this from a doctor who never introduced himself to me or consulted with me about her exam. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know not to go there.

Very satisfied

My husband and I have been getting our exams and glasses here for years. The exam is very thorough and the doctor here is very nice. Very polite staff and very good service. I'd highly recommend them!

Economy eye wear - basics

I have had a couple pairs of glasses made here. The second time I had them made the employee doing the fitting was not very experienced and as a result my glasses were not to my satisfaction. I had a difficult time getting them to work with me on remaking the lenses. In the end they did give me new lenses, but it was a long drawn out process. I won't go back for my next pair!
