WORST EXPERIENCE. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE., 3/24/2012

I chose Formally Yours after 2 recommendations from friends. Though it was a drive, I thought that using them would be worth it. I was pleased at my initial fitting that I could take pictures, which... helped to make my choice. But after that, it was all downhill. The dress came in 6 weeks late, then it was the wrong color. The owner had ordered the wrong color. She apologized but didn't offer any other compensation. A new dress came in several weeks later. At that fitting, it needed minimal alterations. I returned in 2 weeks (which was 2 weeks before the wedding), hoping to try it on and take it home. The alterations lady had not completed the alterations & had completely forgotten to do something. She couldn't finish that day, so I returned the next week. When I arrived, they kept me waiting for 20 minutes, stating she had some things to "finish up." Translation: she hadn't completed my alterations AGAIN. When I tried the dress on, there were still issues and she STILL had forgotten something. 1 1/2 hours later, we left the shop with my dress. I was in tears at my final dress fitting, my stomach was in knots, and no one apologized for anything. This entire experience, which was supposed to be amazing, was a nightmare.
