I've been seeing Dr. Forster for well over 10 years (honestly, it's probably more like 15 years!). He is an exceptional doctor. He never rushes through an appointment, is knowledgeable, and is up to date with the latest info/technology. He has walked me through prescriptions for extreme near-sightedness. Later, when I was interested in laser eye surgery, he took the time to answer all my questions and recommended the Woolfson Eye Institute. You could tell he simply wanted to send me to the best and wasn't just recommending a friend or colleague out of loyalty. I am so thankful for the recommendation because the laser surgeon was fantastic!!! The staff at Forster Eye care is wonderful and will answer all your questions about billing and insurance. The office is clean, organized, and comfortable. Even though I have moved and it's now a 2 hour round trip to get to his office, I don't mind a bit. The exceptional care is worth the drive!

Ok to start off, Dr. Forster was a very nice doctor and treated us very kindly. ON THE OTHER HAND, the man who sold/adjusted glasses was not very professional. He clearly cared far more about making money than about providing care for the patient. He suggested that we buy 2 (instead of one) low perscription reading glasses for our daughter. We know that most of the office profits come from sales of glasses and contacts, however, pushing sales to this degree felt highly inappropriate. Afterwards we felt like we were scammed into making the purchase because the sales man took advantage of our desire do what was best for our daughter's health. In all practicallity, it made no sense for a responsible teenager to have two reading glasses when her perscription was likely to change within a year or two.

Thank you for your review of our business. Although we strive to provide options, ideas and great customer service, WE DO NOT care about making money as the highest priority. There must have been a misunderstanding. We DO offer 40 % off a second pair of glasses, which is a HUGE savings, but do not push our patients into purchasing something they do not want. We are sorry that this misunderstanding occured.
Care was professional and Dr Forster seemed to care for my eyes, but there seemed to be a much greater care for their income. Billing office was impossible. Despite always paying our bill, they would not allow follow-up appointments or even picking up contacts until the insurance company paid (which took a while). Finally gave up and found a Dr who would work with me.

We do not ask a patient to wait for their insurance company to make payment (that could take weeks :). Follow up appointments are usually not charged as a seperate payment, so we are not sure what is being referenced here???
I have been seeing Dr. Forster for years. He is great and he has the best staff you could ask for. I recommend him to anyone looking a great experience.
