Was recommended this company by a neighbor. They came out a few days after I called, took 10 min to look at my dishwasher and said it was the door seal, even though water was coming out the right side through the cabinet. Waited over a month for the part. Came back to install which took just a few minutes, charged me $160 for service and part. As soon as he leaves it starts pouring out water again out the side. Can't come back the same day so comes back out the next day, when he realizes it's the drainage hose leaking which has already severely damaged my cabinet wood at this point. Wait over another month for the drainage hose part to come in. Keep in mind there is no communication during these waiting games and no updates on expected time to receive parts. Instead I have to call if I want any updates and they seem annoyed every time I call like I'm putting them out. They finally come back out to replace the drainage hose, and was obvious they didn't know what they were doing. Were nice enough to not charge me anything else at this point since they clearly didn't do their job the first time, but then after they leave it starts leaking again; this time out the front vent. From what I read it's from an incorrectly installed drainage hose. Shocker! So sick of dealing with this company that I just decided to purchase a new dishwasher so I don't waste any more time or miss anymore work. Has been over a 3 month ordeal with no dishwasher and will not recommend Forsyth Appliance to
Area Cumming, GA
Cost Less than $250

Ive had 2 other repair companies out to fix my Jenn-aire built in oven, but neither fixed it right. Long story short, the oven went out again. This time I called Forsyth, and they fixed it and its running like knew. Honest I was ready to replace it, which, as you know, is very expensive (built-ins are big $$$). So I got off cheap. Very satisfied. They also fixed my Amana fridge (see review) and did a good job there too.

I bought a house that the wine cooler did not work. I did not give them a 5 star on service because initially I emailed them and never heard back but called a week later and had a appointment for that day. The diagnosed it as a faulty thermostat and would get me the price. I called two days later and was told the part was $36.84 and would be in that day or the next. They called me the next day to schedule an appointment the following day around 1. They called at noon and said it would be closer to 5pm and was that OK. He came back at a little after 5 and installed it in about 20 minutes. The charge for that visit was only $30 labor and the part which I felt was really fair. I expected another $65 service charge instead of the $30 labor fee.

I have used this company now for about 6 months. My water heater went out and they came and installed a tankless that afternoon and worked until 11p to get it done. Then my air conditioner went out and they came out that day to add freon to get me cooled down until they could come out the next day. I have 11 rental properties and usually when I call, it is a week out. This company goes beyond that and takes care of within a day. Very impressed. I use them for appliances now too. Great company.

The employees of this company are unreliable, inexperienced, unsympathetic. It has taken them all summer to fix a problem with my ice maker, and I now have another problem with water spraying out all over my hardwood floors as a result of their inability to install a new water valve correctly after waiting all summer (long story). They do not respect the time of the customer, nor should they be a contracted service provider for any company.

Wow, what a joke for a company. Be very careful because they can rip you off. I cancelled a check i wrote to them when i found out they had installed a 2003 model furnance as part of a complete system replacement. I tried to register the furnace with the manuf and it told me to call them as there was no warranty. They did replace the furnace with a 2008 model but couldn't seal it up properly and have still not come back to finish the job. I finally fixed it myself.

Showed up as scheduled which surprised me given the previous reviews.. My heat pump didn't seem to be working well so I had them come out and check the system. (My home warranty company sent them) First tech said the outdoor heatpump was leaking all over the place and would need to be replaced. Two days later they sent another tech with a brand new "freon sniffer" type of device and the new tech couldn't find a leak. He spent a good 45 minutes with my furnace and heat pump, checking everything. He said to use the A/C for a week and he would check back to see if any freon had leaked. He came back just as he promised, and there were no leaks. This wasn't perfect service but, they showed when they promised and didn't try to charge me extra for coming out three times. Very polite and professional. My A/C has been working great ever since they came out. Tech also suggested replacing the seal on my front door to increase the effiency of my A/C, and going to a digital thermostat. (And he didn't try to push selling me one) Maybe they had poor service in the past but, have improved since then.

They also do business as Aire Serve. My experience was very negative. I hired them to install an ac unit. They repeatedly made appointments - then cancelled. The work itself was not done correctly. Bad all around experience.

I scheduled an appointment with them for a refrigerator repair. They were scheduled to come on a Friday between 9-12. Never showed, never called. They called the following Monday stating they were on their way. I had already scheduled an appointment with one of the better rated services on this board. Their lack of concern for my time (i stayed home from work to make the appointment) and disregard for the fact that a refrigerator problem is usually pretty critical, leads me to give them a poor rating in terms of customer service.

I wished we had read about this company prior to choosing them to install a heat pump in our basement. The came in early March and installed the heat pump, they demanded 90% of the money, which we made the mistake of paying and now 4 months later we can't get them to come back to finished the job. We're still haven't been able to confirm, whether the equipment works properly or not. They take days to return our calls, when they finally do show up, their techs always say they have to come back and the cycle starts all over again. Based on Better Business Bureau files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to SEVERAL unanswered complaints. I wished we had performed a thorough check prior to selecting them for the job. I hope no one else gets taken by this company!
