Had Horrible Labor Experience with Her, 5/17/2007

When we consider the technology advancement and the amount of knowledge today, one would think that this doctor will bring all inputs together and will make the best decision for a mother to be and... the baby. Especially, when this is such special event. However, this was not the case with me. She let me have a normal delivery although I had a very large baby. When a first time mother is forced to push her large baby with all she had while her bone structure does not allow such thing, it is likely that the baby will be stuck and insides of the mother will be damaged. Anyway, my baby is more than 9 months old and I feel like my insides are falling down. I know that the best for me was having a c-section and this doctor did not take good care of me. Also do not forget to google her name before choosing her as your doctor, you will see more about her on the internet.

Worst I have ever seen, 1/22/2007

She caused me to go 6 days overdue. The ultrasound was done when I was 5 days overdue in which it was seen that my water level was low. However, she wanted me to wait one more day. When I went to the... hospital that night, it turned out that I had meconium in my water as well. I was not told that I was going to have a big baby. I could not push out my baby although I pushed 1 hr 45 minutes. Epidural did not work because of the position of the baby. She did not bother to tell us that the baby was sunny side up. Instead of giving me the option of a c-section due to the big baby, low water level, baby position, and mecanium, she took the baby out with forceps and caused me to have a third degree tear (She told me that it was a third degree which I think now is fourth). I could not even enjoy my baby's first days. It has been almost 6 months but, I still have muscle problems and it looks like I will end up having a surgery to have my problems fixed. In addition to all that, she did not bother to visit me after the labor either.

Excellent Doctor!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Franklin's for years. She has a fantastic bedside manner and always takes a little extra time to listen to my concerns or answers my questions.
