Aurburn Reginal hospital is awesom!!!!!!
My experience was great, I was injured in a car accident on 167, I had never been rushed to hospital in an ambulance before. in fact I hate even visiting Hospitals. Everyone was so attentive, professional and comforting. I had the nicest nurse who stayed with me much of the time, janelle, What a sweetheart. My doctors were wonderfully, I am so lucky to have been at that hospital.

CRUMMY Emergency Room Visit
I woke up with what I thought was a heart attack in the middle of the night. It turned out to be a severe panic attack that came out of nowhere, however a family member took me to Auburn Regional, I walked into the emergency room and N-O-O-N-E was at the front desk. I was feeling like I was going to faint, walking around looking for ANYONE to help me out before I dropped on the floor, A lady who was just randomly parusing the hall walked by me, I said I was having heart problems and I need help. She didnt say anything to me, and casually walked into a doorway and a few minutes later the front desk person walked out and handed me a clip board with paper to fill out. I lost my nerve that I could possibly be having a heart attack and you want me to fill out information other than a release. When I was seen, a nurse came in and put a heart rate gadget on my finger and left without turning on the machine and my urine sample sat UNLABLED on the counter until about 15 minutes later when someone grabbed it. It felt like the hospital of DOOM. God forbid there is a next time, but if there were, I'd rather go the extra 10 minutes to Valley Medical Center. Auburn Regional needs help, not the cleanest either.

Hospital of Horrors / Hell
On Tuesday 2-1-2011 I had surgery in this horrible, uncaring hospital. \rI should have guessed what I was in for when I checked in at 6:00am. I was informed that there was a note attached to my chart informing me that I have a $200.00 hospital deductable. The person asked if I had the $200.00. Are you kidding me? I'm here for surgery, why was this not brought to my attention when I pre- registered?\r\rSurgery floor nurses were nice, but the problem was with the PCU nurses and CNA's. I got sick from the anethesia and nothing to throw up in. I had to use my ice chip cup, that my Dr. got for me when she stopped by to see how I was doing. It was too much trouble for the nurses/CNA's to bring any ice chips, yet alone those things to throw up in. I got vomit on my gown, and I did not receive a clean one. I had to wear that thing all night. I hardly saw a nurse or CNA. They came at shift change and would say I'm so & so and I'll be your nurse today/tonight and that was all you would see of them. I basically took care of myself. \r\rThe nurse woke me at 5:30 am to give me some pain pills because they were going to get me out of bed in 30 minutes, but needed time for the pain meds. to kick in.\rI was so relieved to see my Dr. come by at 10:00 am. I said ""thank goodness you're here, now maybe I can finally get out of this bed."" She was not happy that I had not been up. \r\rI will not go into the HIPPA (privacy) violation. I have an 80 year old mans name, birthdate, ect. that was attached to my files. I will show my Dr. when I have my 2 week check up.\r\rI have informed my insurance company to dispute the bill, as I never received the comb, toothbrush, toothpaste ect, kit and you know I will be charged $$$ for it. \r\rTHIS IS THE HOSPITAL FROM HELL. I have never seen a bunch of LAZY, UNCARING Nurses/CNA's in my life.\r\rDO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. \r\r\r\r\r

Awful ER experience!!
On Friday, January 14th, at around 5:30pm, I visited the Emergency Room at Auburn Regional Medical Center. My two year old had her hand slammed in the door at daycare. When I arrived there were signs indicating to be seen, fill out paperwork on a clipboard and when finished lay it upside down in a basket and your name will be called. Feeling frantic, I filled the paperwork out and put it in the basket and continued to console my little girl. I waited and waited for even the paperwork to be taken out of the basket, as I watched the girl at check in desk chatting with another male hospital staff member on a break. She was the only one checking people in. I then asked at the information desk how long the wait would be and was told just to wait for a nurse to come out and they would be able to tell me. She also added that things like ear infections are prioritized last. As I paced waiting for a nurse to come through the door the security guard let me know there was a blue button to push for a nurse to come see me. I pushed the button and saw the nurses through a small door window look at me and I continued to wait. My daughter's hand was still bleeding and she was still crying and I felt so awful to make her wait for any sort of treatment. Even a band aid at this point would be suficient. The security guard called to the nurses station for one of them to come see me. Finally when a nurse arrived at the triage desk I told her that my little girl had her finger smashed in a door and I needed to know how long I would have to wait. Her response was that I would have to wait in line just like everyone else. Finally at this point the girl at the check in desk was speaking to the first patient since I had arrived. It must have been 20 minutes. I told the nurse my daughter's name and told her that I would go somewhere else and she just shouted at the check in girl to remove my paperwork that I would not be staying.\r \rThere was no sense of urgency what so ever! I brought my d
