I was looking for a new stylist, and on the recommendation of a friend, scheduled an appointment at Fresche. Kate Brown gave me a cut and highlights, and I couldn't have asked for a better... experience. She asked good questions about what I wanted and really listened, and clearly explained what she was going to do to make sure we were on the same page. I am a working mom to a toddler, so don't have a lot of time for styling, and she gave me a sophisticated yet natural-looking cut and color that looks great and will be easy to maintain. I went to the salon in Oakhurst to try out a color and cut with Greg and loved the result! Greg had in mind the same color and cut I wanted and we had a great time. The salon is not pretentious, and fortunately everyone I met there is far from snobby like several other salons I've been to in Atlanta. I'm happy to say Greg passed the audition and I'll be going back. You should give Fresche a try too!
I saw Linda at the stone mountain location. She gave me a great, cute haircut and was great about the fact that I wanted it to be easy AND cute. She worked with my natural waves, a miracle! The salon is very comfortable and pretty and everyone was kind.
I couldn't imagine trusting anyone else with my hair! Fresche has been my go to salon (and incidentally my mother-in-laws as well) for awhile now, and everyone there has been friendly, courteous, and professional. Theo has been so helpful and attentive every time I go in, his advice is sound and he is truly talented at cut, color, and style. Oh, and his hair washes are to die for. I've also gotten my eyebrows done at Fresche (only once so I don't know how much this helps), and the guy that helped me was very professional and easy to talk to, the arch was perfect, and he made the entire waxing process very comfortable.
I was a customer of Fresche for awhile, and enjoyed going there. Then one day, I walked out with electric fucshia hair. I looked at the pink mixture in the bowl, and asked the stylist if that's what color my hair was going to be. "Noooo, of course not! I wouldn't do that to you! It's going to be a nice red, like you requested." But, bright pink it was. I stayed a couple extra hours while she tried to fix it. I contacted Joi, and asked her to supervise the next day's fix, and she assured me she would. That time, the pink ran into the blonde, and I had lavender as well. Joi did little to no supervising, and stared right through me as I walked out with my pink and purple hair--she was just too busy and important to bother with it. I emailed her directly and asked for a refund. She explained that I could come in again, and work around her schedule, for another "fix", but that they don't give refunds. I told her I'd already spent SIX hours there, and that she didn't supervise the "fix." "Ohhh, I'm busy--but you're a regular customer, so I can refund only the color portion you paid." Grrr. The right answer would have been "we screwed up (three times) and of course you can have a FULL refund!" I didn't mind the stylist's mistake so much as Joi's Holier Than Thou attitude; I would have gone to the same stylist again, but I don't support businesses whose owners don't own up to mistakes.
I would first like to apologize again for your unfortunate color experience. I do remember this situation and looked thru my email for the details of what I offered to you in response. This happened last Summer so I was really surprised to read this today. We did offer to correct it and I met with the stylist prior to your appointment to give her my suggestions. When you did not receive the result you desired after this 2nd appointment, I offered for you to come in to me personally and a refund of the service you were unhappy with. We did issue the refund and unfortunately didn't see you again. My goal is for every client to leave fresche happy and I am not satisfied if that doesn't happen. My policy is to always do my best to make it right, apologize, and issue a refund if that is applicable. I did all of those things in your case. I can only say again that I am very sorry that you were not happy with your service and that I made you feel that I don't care. My business is very personal and important to me and the clients happiness is ultimately all that matters.
I got a great haircut from Tiffany on my first visit to Fresche this weekend. The salon has a fun and friendly atmosphere, I will definately be coming back again and recommending Fresche to all my friends :)

Fresche is not pretentious and do amazing work. While I did not meet the owner, Joi, it's apparent she created a positive atmosphere where the customer comes first.

I was selected for a makeover for charity. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a great change! This is my thank you to them. I don’t even know where to begin to thank you for everything! As you know, I was a bit freaked out when I first saw my hair. Although the cut was darling, it was so strange for it to be on me. I didn’t think it “was me”. Well I have to tell you I have grown into my hair and it IS me! Actually the new me. I feel like a new woman. I can’t even begin to count the compliments I have received. Not only on the cut, but also how it looks on me. I’ve gotten the “you look 10 years younger”, and “you look so hot”, which is always good for a woman of 47. J I’ve actually had several people stop me, and I’m talking complete strangers, say they liked my hair cut. Of course I give Fresche and Phillipa all of the credit.
I was touched when I read your thank you....you were definitely one of my favorite make-overs - because it brought out the best you possible! We saw something that you couldn't see; and it just took a little time (and added support from strangers!) for you to see it! And yes, you do look hot! Thank you for being a participant, for bringing so many people to the show to help raise money and for your kind words - it means alot!
I was chosen to participate in a makeover/fashion show that Fresche was doing. I was one of 12 everyday women chosen who needed a fresh look for a fresh start in life. I had a great experience at Fresche and will go back. As part of my experience I spent several hours two different days at Fresche and had contact with almost every employee. All were very friendly and very professional. My first experience at Fresche included a great color and hair cut by Joi, a manicure by Aimee, my hair was styled the night of the event by Philippa, and I lost count how many of the girls helped us with our makeup. My friends and family love the color and cut I got from Fresche. The other women chosen for the event all seemed to enjoy their experience too. If you are looking for a good change - try Fresche.

My sister won a free haircut to Fresche from Decatur Concerts on the Square...she had a great experience at Fresche, and gave me 20% off coupon, so I figured, why not give them a whirl? Becca gave me a great haircut and highlights ( 1/2 price if you take a friend on Wednesdays...great deal!). I just went back this Saturday for another haircut and got a lot of compliments at work! I'm a teacher, and even my students liked it.(That's the ultimate compliment!) You go, Becca!

I went to fresche and can not believe what all I got for the price! They now offer nail services (and not like all the other nail places- it's organic, very clean, and I was treated like a Queen!) The nail area is very "zen" and private. Not only was the pedicure and manicure wonderfully relaxing - she did a great job and I was offered a "specialty drink" at no extra charge! I still can't believe what all I got for the money. I highly recommend fresche for hair & nails!

What a time! I called them right when they opened and they had me in the same day. On Sunday mind you. The coffee was good, and the receptionist was awesome. I saw Lori, who took a few suggestions from me before working herself to death on the best haircut I've ever had. I went in looking homeless and left a good deal hotter. I'm a thrifty girl, but I would have paid the (very reasonable) fee just to flirt with the lovely Nikki who shampooed my hair... I'll be back, no doubt.
